I am not a huge fan of Katelyn type names, to be honest.

But I've been somewhat captured by Kathleen when I saw it.
Looking at it, it's giving off a certain elegant charm with this spelling. Or am I overthinking? That might be a possibility

So I would like to know, what are your thoughts on the name?
I think it's pronounced kath-LEEN, right?

It is of greek origin and means pure.
{Oh, and random bit: it's also Audrey hepburn's middle name.}

I think it's pretty it's my birth mums first name but I dunno her. there are a bunch of nicknames like Kat/Katie/Kathy/Leenie/Leen/maybe Lena? Kit? Kitty? Lee/Leigh etc. My moms full name is Kathleen Mary, mines is Karin Marie my name means pure as well. I say it like Karen but with an "i".

I love the name Kathleen! Its such a nice twist to Katelyn/Katherine/Kathy names...I think of an Irish girl when I hear the name

I think Kathleen is an ok name. I prefer the spelling Cathleen though. I guess I just feel like the C names aren't as harsh as the K names.... I really like the name Catherine best for one of the 'Cath' or Catie variations.
