I only like Isabelle, but prefer Isabella

Don't care for the other names, but I think Hudson would be ok for a boy.

Boys
Seeley - Not my style.
Felix - Reminds me of a cat.
Fletcher - Love it. :P
Hudson - Very handsome name.

Girls
Kherington - I'm not a fan of Carrington to begin with, but the crazy spelling makes me dislike it more. =/
Isabelle - Beautiful, if not incredibly popular.
Layla or Laila - Gorgeous. I prefer Layla.
Lorelai - Pretty.
Lena - I've never been a fan, but it's a good name.
Charlie - LOVE it, but only as a nickname for Charlotte or something else.

  • Interests:I LOVE reading. I'm into almost every genre and generally read a book a week, if possible. I like Iris Johansen, Karen Marie Moning, Stephen King, James Patterson, Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, Diana Gabaldon, Kathy Reichs, and Robert Burns (every Scot's favorite author). I really love music and even got accepted to the Mason Gross School of Performing Arts at Rutgers University (my alma mater) for vocal performance. Unfortunately performance life was not for me, so I went into English Lit and French instead. Music is still a big part of my life, and I like a multitude of musical genres from Reggae to Rock to Opera. I've seen Carmen and La bohème each twice. (And I cry every time.) My husband and I also have a special place in our hearts for The Beatles.

Hi I have two new girl names I like

Leona ( it was my g-gma's name)
Lindan ( it has the name Linda (linda is my m-i-law) in it without sounding like it)

What do ya think?

I looooooove Leona! It was supposed to be my middle name, but my mom wanted to "modernize it," so I ended up with LeAnne.
I really like Linden, but Lindan looks kinda tacky. Linden still has the association with Linda.

Boys
Seeley-I really like this name, but think your kid would probably be teased easily if this was his name.
Felix-not a fan of this name but really for my own personal reasons
Fletcher-I cant stop saying catcher in my head for some reason so this one gets a no for me lol
Hudson-Thats cute, I like the whole surname sound for a first name on a boy or even a girl in some cases.

Girls
Kherington-I actually like this name and it's different spelling. I know this sounds odd, but I think so many other people not liking it makes me ike it just a hair more too than I already did lol.
Isabelle-always loved this name, but it is too popular.
Layla or Laila-Same thing as above except I love this one a little more and I always sing some eric clapton when I hear it lol
Lorelai-I really like this name. Its not common by any means, but its not so random and unique that nobody would be able to pronounce or understand your daughters name. Its very sweet.
Lena-Again a good choice, but can be a nickname so if you want a firstname suggestion maybe Marlena?
Charlie-I feel the same as above. I really do like this name but it is a nickname to me and your daughter should be given a proper full first name even if you are going to call her Charlie for the rest of her life, what happens when shes an adult and needs a job? I think Charmagne and Charlotte are two cute names that can both give you the pretty nickname of Charlie.

You have really goo taste in names. I liked all your girl names. I wish you the best of luck with naming your baby and remember in the long run its what you like and think will suit your baby best.

Boys
Seeley- Not too keen on this name
Felix- Reminds me of my sister's cat, Felix
Fletcher- Not too keen but cute on a baby
Hudson- Personally would work better as a middle name, as would Fletcher

Girls
Kherington- This is a cute name. I like it
Isabelle- Prefer Isabella but I love the name
Layla or Laila- Prefer Layla to Laila and like this name
Lorelai- Not to keen on this name. Although not too common which is good
Lena- Like this name but does sound like a nickname or a middle name
Charlie- This reminds of the boy spelling. I do like Charlie for a girl but prefer the spelling of Charleigh or Charlee. I do prefer it as a nickname or Charlotte.
