We are expecting our first child, a baby boy, in January. Soooo excited!!! My husband would like to name him Judah. While I really like its meaning - "Praise (the Lord)" - I think the name itself is a bit out-dated... As a middle name, it would be okay, though. My favorite pick in that case would be Ethan Judah (last name is Quayson). What do you think? Do you have more suggestions for combos (no unisex names, please)? Thanks for your help!!!

I really like Judah! I don't think it is dated at all. Just a suggestion, how about Jude as a first name?

Peter Judah Quayson
Owen Judah Quayson
Theodore Judah Quayson
Charlie Judah Quayson

Haha, Addy, I was waiting for you to comment! When I searched the forum for other topics involving the name Judah, there was a post by you everytime! :-) Thanks, though!

Does Ethan Quayson rhyme? Since most people don't use the middle name much I would avoid that. I really like Judah but if it feels too dated to you then I vote Jude Ethan Quayson.

Thank you, neverland. No, Ethan Quayson doesn't rhyme (at least not in my ears, the way I pronounce it). Quayson rhymes with Jason, which is sad, cause I would really like that name otherwise... :-)

What would be your suggestions of middle names for Judah (I don't think we'll go with Jude)?

Thanks, Kaysee! I'm getting more and more convinced to run with my husband's suggestion and going with Judah as a first name. In that case, Jude would be a cute nickname, I think.
