Remy Allison Schuller (17) is one of Katherine's classmate and the only one Katherine's ever encountered who can resist her powers. Remy is not very cool and falls in with the wrong crowd, smokers, drinkers, and kids who like to fight. She is decently smart, but she has gift for architecture that she plans to use later in life. She has noticed that Katherine is changing the memories of her friends and manipulating them so that they think she's an angel. Remy has the gift to restore memories, but her power is only about as strong as Charlotte's so it takes a lot of effort. Remy has gone home sick the days that she's tried and as a result she loathes Katherine.

Annie Jeanine Schuller (7) is the younger sister of Remy. She has the power to sense people's true personalities. She has met Katherine and because of her power even though Katherine can manipulate her memories, she knows what Katherine is really like. Remy restored the memories Katherine took away. Annie was happy her memories were back but upset to see her sister so sick. It make sher angry when her sister comes home sick, knowing it's Katherine's fault, and so she likes to play pranks on Katherine, like putting fake snakes in her backpack just before school one day.

Rodney "Rod" Steven Schuller [22] is Annie and Remy's older brother. He finishing up his bachelors degree in music education this year. He is single, and has been ever since three months ago where he broke up from a long time girlfriend. Things were not working out, and he is afraid that because of the break up he loves her even more. He aspires to become a director of music, but his main instrument is the baritone saxophone. He has gotten a job offer in Annie's elementary school to be the band teacher. Rodney is secretly a vampire. He got bitten by his girlfriend, which caused their breakup.

Nova Lilly Pacer (12 when changed, would be 38) is a member of Rod's girlfriend's coven. Rod's girlfriend is much older than her and has taken her under her wing. Nova was changed by her when she was in the woods, alone, about to commit suicide. Nova has found a new purpose in life and loves it. She is secretive and mysterious, always avoiding her hometown when the coven moves.

Lily Harper Zepol [22] is Rod's girlfriend, and the one who changed him into a vampire. She has taken Nova under her wing like a little sister, because she is the closest she has to family. The vampire coven she is in is a great big family who look after each other. After, Rod and her professed love and knew they wanted to be together forever then she changed him to be like her, a vampire.

Damien Jack Reynolds (17 when changed, would be 114) is one of the oldest in Lily and Nova's coven. He is very protective of all members of the coven, especially Lily, whom he has a rush in, though he would never tell her. Damien is very insightful and resourceful. When he was seventeen, his abusive father almost beat him to death with a board. The leader of the coven, the oldest, changed him.

 Travis John Acaedo [35, would be 667] is the oldest in the vampire coven, and the leader of the pack. He was involved in gangs and rolling with the wrong crowd. When he didn't meet a payment he got bitten and welcomed to the new life. They thought he wouldn't survive since they didn't finish the transfusion, and he wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for a young woman walking by. the woman happened to be a doctor and nursed him back to health, unaware he was a vampire. they soon fell in love and wed. She then got turned in their honeymoon. Travis has many children.

Viola June Acaedo (29 when changed, would be 659) is Travis's wife. She was very accepting of the idea of being a vampire as she had grown up with stories of them. When she found Travis on the side of the road, the only thoughts racing through her mind were "I need to save him" and "I love him." The latter startled her and she thought the feeling would fade, but not in 630 years has it faded one bit. Viola enjoys being a mysterious spirit and has taken quite a liking to Lily Zepol.

Evangeline "Eva" Blaire Acaedo [16, would be 634] is the youngest daughter of Travis and Viola. When they named all their twelve children, they made sure to include the letter V, to remind their children of who they really are, vampires. Eva sometimes wishes she were normal, like other kids, and be able to grow up with her classmates without a secret holding her back. Eva is the youngest and is really close to her older brother and sister whom are twims and only a couple years older. They have really taught her the ways of the coven since her parents have been too busy running the coven. In evitably, with all coven regulations Eva couldn't help but fall in love with the enemy, a werewolf.

Vienna Sage Acaedo (18, would be 636) is the daughter of Travis and Viola Acaedo, sister of Eva Acaedo and a twin brother. Vienna loves her way of life and has never questioned her evident superiority to her normal, human classmates. Vienna often finds it difficult to control her impulses and her brother often chides her for it. She has fallen in love with a very traditional, ancient vampire. They are planning to elope (they hunt humans, her family does not, neither approves of the other) soon.

Ava Elise Acaedo (14) is the youngest of her siblings, separated from the oldest by around 600 years. Even though she's a vampire, aside from the blood-drinking she isn't much different at this stage than any of her human peers. Ava loves gymnastics and she loves reading fantasy books, though she could be a character in one of them herself. She wants to be an author or a famous gymnast or both. She has two human best friends that have been her friends since she was little, a boy and a girl. They both found out she was a vampire when she was six. The boy is actually her boyfriend now. Her parents know that her friends know the secret, but they don't know that Ava and the boy have started dating, as she doesn't know how they'd react. She's met the man Vienna loves, and thinks he's an evil creep. The first time they met, he tried to bite Ava's female friend and Ava punched him in the nose. Ava knows her sister likes him but doesn't know about their plans to elope. Ava and Vienna haven't really talked for a few weeks after they had a huge fight about hunting humans.

Victor Brook Acaedo [18] is the twin brother of Vienna, and older brother of Eva. He is the cousin of Ava, and the younger brother of nine other siblings. Victor teases his twin sister a whole bunch and loves pranking his youngest sister, just like the rest of his brothers tease him. Since he is the youngest boy he gets roughed up by his older brothers, and he enjoys the attention. He  loves the adrenaline rush that come to being a vampire, and has come close too many times to blurting his secret.

Kate Lucy Allan (17) is Victor's girlfriend. She knows he is hiding something because he hasn't let her meet his parents. Kate is fairly normal but she has a little power of seeing when someone is lying. Kate has an older brother who hates Victor because he knows what he is but doesn't have the heart to tell Kate. Kate has nearly punched her brother for what he has said about Victor. She is very much in love and will accept whatever Victor is hiding. She is quite naïve but knows what love feels like.

Arlo Sebastian Allan [21] is the older brother of Kate. He hates Victor with a passion, for a very specific reason. Victor is a vampire, and Arlo is a hunter. Before their father passed away  in a pursuit he told everything to arlo and made him swear he would never tell anyone. This is the reason he hides the secret. He has been hunting since he was fifteen. He is good combat fighter, and usually never lets a vampire escape. Now he just doesn't know what to do about the current situation. Either way his sister's heart could be broken.

Jenna Caroline Hale (21) is Arlo's hunting partner. Mostly the vampires are guys and she lures them in, making it easy for Arlo to join her and help her finish the job. She is quite the fighter herself but prefers not to get her hands dirty. Jenna is itching to rid the world of Victor, whom she believes is a no-good scumbag. There has never really been anything (romantically) between her and Arlo, but they got drunk one night celebrating the defeat of their hardest case yet and had sex. Jenna is terrified of becoming pregnant, especially because Arlo has taken interest in a girl lately. Jenna is very independent and confident and was reluctant to have a partner in the first place.

Oliver Ari Hale (14) is the younger brother of Ari Hale, and one of the best friends, and starting recently the boyfriend of Ava Acaedo, Victor's cousin. Since he knows Ava is a vampire, he hates the fact that Jenna is a hunter. He knows she wants to kill Victor, and is terrified that she actually will, or that she'll try and get herself killed, or they'll kill each other. He likes Victor fine, he likes most of Ava's family. They know that he knows Ava's secret, but they don't know he and Ava are dating.  Jenna knows he's friends with Ava, but she doesn't know they're dating either.

Kaylie Emma Hale (14) is Oliver's twin and Jenna's younger sister. Kaylie's sister is her idol. She is planning to follow in Jenna's footsteps to become a hunter. Kaylie hates when Oliver goes out with Ava. She can smell the vampire on him. Kaylie's friends are all guys, and she's fairly certain at least two have crushes on her, which she hates. Kaylie is a generally negative and manipulative person, which makes her a great candidate for a hunter.

Colton Alexander Gage [14] is one of Kaylie's friends. He has known her the longest and doesn't like it when the guys in their group get all lovey dovey on her when they don't even know her that well. Colton agrees with Kaylie on the whole vampire things, and in fact hates them as well. Of all people he would hate them most, for he is a werewolf. It runs in his bloodline, and all his siblings are part wolf too, except for one sibling.
