I've been thinking of a few names lately which I have discovered I like. Most are girl's ones as I am pretty set on my favourite boy's names :)

1. Vera. I have recently taken to this name a lot. It's cute on a little girl. My favourite combo is probably Vera Charlene. What are your opinions on it and do you have any other suggestions.

2. Helena. Again, this is cute in my opinion. Helena Nicole? Helen is a bit dated, but with the extra 'a' on the end makes it appear and sound ok for a younger person.

3. Louisa. Like Helena, I think the a on the end makes it better than Louise (which I am not a fan of). I adore Louisa :) Any mn suggestions? I'm stuck.

4. Simona/Simone. I like either with this name. I read this series of books and there was a little girl in it called Simone and ever since then I have loved the name(s). Any mn suggestions?

5. Simon. Yep, for a boy :) Does it seem a little old fashioned for a baby boy? Lately, I really like it. Simon Connor? Simon Jackson?

6. Sage. This is the ONLY name I like which I cannot decide whether or not I prefer it on a boy or a girl. I just love it on both. For a boy, I love the combo Sage Riley and for a girl, Peyton Sage. What do you think?

1. Vera - Not sure how I feel about this name. Its okay but doesnt really have anything special about that shouts "I'm the one" if you get my meaning.

2. Helena - I agree that the -a on the end of Helena gives it something just a bit extra. Helen, though pretty, is quite boring. Helena is divine!!

3. Louisa - Hmm. Not my favorite, I prefer Eloise/Eloisa.

4. Simona/Simone - I really like the name Simone (not so keen on Simona) I think it goes great as a middle name with just about anything. Very elegant!

5. Simon - I dont think Simon is too old fashioned for a boy. I think this is a great underused boy name.

6. Sage - I love Sage for a girl (LOVE this spelling, dislike Saige). Sage seems so hip/new but is very feminine IMO so I would not use on a boy unless maybe as a middle name.

1. Vera (Vera Charlene). I don't mind Vera. It sounds very classy, maybe posh :P I don't care for Vera Charlene, but it's okay...

2. Helena (Helena Nicole). Helena definitely sounds less dated than Helen, but Nicole definitely sets it back in looking more dated. Nicole is becoming a dated name, though I like it a lot anyways! But maybe one one of these will keep it modern?
~ Helena Renee
~ Helena Cassidy
~ Helena Georgia (somewhat dated, but still sounds young!)
~ Helena Cadence
~ Helena Genevieve

3. Louisa. I do like Louisa, but I also love Louise lol! I think it sounds precious <3
~ Louisa Carolyn
~ Louisa Natalie
~ Louisa Peyton

4. Simona/Simone. I prefer Simone personally :D
~ Simona Beatrice
~ Simona Lauren
~ Simone Marissa
~ Simone Ariella
~ Simone Aurelia

5. Simon. (Simon Connor, Simon Jackson) It's handsome! I have been thinking about this name recently, actually. I think it's only going to be a guilty pleasure for me though, I don't have the guts to use it! :D Simon Connor sounds sooooo handsome! :D Simon Jackson sounds okay, but Jackson is wayyy to popular right now, and plus they both end in "n", which bothers me personally, but if you don't mind it- go for it!

6. Sage. (Sage Riley, Peyton Sage) I personally only like it on a girl LOL! However, I think if you use it, you should use a very masculine or very feminine name with it! If you use Sage Riley, it would be easily confused for a girl, but if you use Peyton Sage, it also looks masculine so might be confused for a boy :/

Hope I helped! ~ Hadds

I really like Helena Cassidy and Helena Renee. Cute.
Louisa Carolyn is alright, but now thinking about it, I think I like Louisa Caroline.
Simona Lauren, I really like and Simone Marissa. Yeah, I think I prefer Simone too.
To me, Riley is only a boy's name, because I know or know of a few Riley's and they are all boy's so if I do end up using it I don't think anyone will question it, because where I live, Riley is very much a boy's name :P

Thanks again :P

Oh, you have just dug up a bunch of names I like! I am about to have a major name nerd moment...

I love Vera. Although, I do prefer Verity....

Simone and Simona are both nice, though I prefer Simona. It's less common, and more feminine. There is just something so ethnic and ravishing about the name Simona!

Simon is a cute name, it's not used very often anymore. I can only think of one person I know named Simon. And I think of the TV show 7th Heaven when I hear it!

Helena, Louise and Sage aren't my style.... but I do think Sage has more feminine appeal.
