I'm bored, so here's a few kid names I've come across on my vacation to Maui that I think are interesting. LMKWYT! (Let me know what you think!)
Emi*
Lei*
BrittaLynn
Bronwin
Nikkla
Ardeen
Poon
LeeAhn
*Emi and Lei were seven year old twins I met at my resort. According to them, their names come from Emilae, which their parents were going to name just one baby girl. But they had two so it became Emi and Lei. IDK if i believe that or not I prefer Emmy instead of Emi, and Lei just makes me think of flower Leis. And as far as I know these weren't nicknames; when their mom was calling them in from the pool where they were playing with my sisters and they were ignoring her, she said, "Emi Lauren **** and Lei Brooklyne **** come NOW" (I bleeped out their last name, fyi)
so ... yeah, LMKWYT!

The name Poon is real odd........I like LeeAhn,though. I know it sounds real girly to Americans I like it a whole lot for a boy. Even if I am American..........
Bronwin used to be my favorite baby girl name!

Emi - I love this on a little girl as a nickname to Emily or Emma. Not to big on it by itself because it doesnt age well.
Lei - Cute
BrittaLynn - Not my style at all
Bronwin - I prefer Bronwyn this spelling looks made-up.
Nikkla - hmm I like Nicola better but its alright
Ardeen - I dont like this one at all its really quite harsh
Poon - teasing potential = nms
LeeAhn - Not on a boy thats just wrong and on a girl I prefer traditional Leanne.

I actually know a girl named Emi who lives in Hawaii (though not in Maui), and while I would normally think it doesn't age well, it works. It might be because she's Southeastern Asian and it just seems more ethnic to me than cutesy.
I don't like any of the other names, especially Poon and Ardeen. Those are awful.
