so i've been away for 3 weeks and absolutey nothing has changed namewise which i guess is good. So just wanted to see your thoughts.....

Sienna V Savannah

i use to be very much 100% sure on Sienna. but now not so much. It actually was a tie with Sienna, Savannah and Scarlett but my friends adorable daughter is Scarlett so that was an easy elimination.

Jade v Jane

Jade and Jane are both family names. i really don't want to use a family name but i love these names too much. I get so worried using family names that people will think i like that particular family member more than another, and feel like if i use one family name then i should use them all etc etc so its just so much easier having a name noone in the family has. But then i come to this dilemma! Jane, a little older, yet in this day and age maybe less common. Jade, more common but not overused. both are short, sharp, simple and dead set easy to spell!

Ruby v Jade v Sienna

All colour names, but which to use?

Sienna or Savannah

Jade or Jane

Ruby or Jade or Sienna

I don't really have great reasons for choosing the names I did. I simply just like them the best. For the last group of names my second choice would have been Sienna. Ruby too me is very overused and I don't like the way it sounds if that makes and sense.

i know what you mean Ruby to me is kinda too close to rude. I think its only appeal to me is a possibility of middle name spot jut thought id throw it in for good measure:P

Sienna vs Savannah

I prefer Sienna to Savannah personally. I don't know why, but I really just don't care for Savannah. Though I did see a cute movie called "Savannah Smiles" and it made a good impression. Its not bad though. Savannah makes me think a plain, more innocent girl. I hear Sienna and think of a glamorous, chic sort of girly girl. Though in reading ahead, if your trying to avoid too many color names (in Jade vs Sienna vs Ruby) then maybe Savannah is a good idea so you can chose between Jade and Ruby instead.

Jade vs Jane

I'm having the same inward debate. I know my BF wants to honor her grandmother Jade if we have a girl, but I prefer Jane personally. I just adore plain Jane :) Not that I think its that plain, but pleasantly plain if that makes any sense.

Ruby vs Jade vs Sienna

I'd pick Sienna here. As I mentioned above, I much prefer Jane to Jade (even though Jade is nice). Ruby is nice, just not my favorite. I think its pretty, old fashioned (which I tend to adore), I guess I just don't love the sound. "Ru" is a good nick name if you wanted one though. I'm not sure why Sienna is my favorite though, cause typically I don't love it. I guess I just kinda love it more than the others (today.. ;) ).

GL! Hope this helps!
