We are having a hard time deciding what to name our son. We both like the name Caeden! But we don't know whether Caeden will be the first or middle name! My husband's name is Carl and I would like to use his name also. Please WE NEED help! Many thanks!

If you don't mind the double C, Caeden Carl sounds quite nice.

Agreed, Caeden Carl is nice. Caeden Charles (English form of Carl) would be lovely too.

I like Caeden Carl. It sounds nice and uses both the names you wanted to use.

I dont think Caeden Ian flows and well.. it kinda runs together.. Caedenian.. like some kind of countrymen (ie.. Romanian, Bulgarian, Caedenian..)
Just my take on it though.

It does run together, and it's a tad repetitive. I'd avoid middle names ending in -an/-en/-in because of the sound. How about Caeden Liam? The sound is somewhat similar to Ian but it flows better, in my opinion.

I agree, Ian is a wonderful name but it does kind of ruin together with Caeden. Kate nailed Liam, though! That's a wonderful alternative :)
