Hi! My husband and I are on our way to try for our first child together. We each have a little girl from previous relationships, Frankie, 6, and Jana, 7.

I LOVE unisex names for girls. Which is why my daughter is Francis, or Frankie.

I have been able to talk my husband into the name Addison for a girl and Logan Miles (which he will go by Miles) for a boy.

We are having a very hard time coming up with a middle name for Addison.

We kind of like Addison Cheyenne, but its not 100%.

Any ideas?

---Edit---

our last name starts with a C (but sounds like a K). This is probably important.

I like the name Addison (It's my name, haha) but I feel like it doesn't fit with the other girls' names. You could still use it, but it just doesn't match the sibset. Frankie (Francis) & Jana are both older names and not very commonly used today, (which I love, by the way) so I feel like you need another like that. Some ideas:
Maxine "Max"
Kennedy
Robin
Ashton
Kendall
Dara

Thanks for your reply. I'm not much for my kids names matching. And since they are from seperate parents, I don't really know how important it is. My daughters name is old and unisex, his daughters is possibly old, but to me very girly. haha I do like the name Kennedy, but my husband is a hard man to please haha

I'm almost sold on Addison Marie. Marie is my middle name, which is also my grandmothers and her health is very bad these days...so, it might just be the perfect fit.

I don't like Addison. I think it's overdone and won't age well, plus it has a masculine meaning. Here are some names that I think are good:
Alison
Madeleine
Adeline
Andrea (technically, this is a unisex name)
Augustine (this is also a unisex name)
Adelaide
Adrienne
Alix (this is an old French name)
Elissa
Alexandrine

I have never met anyone with the name Addison. And I know what it means, but I think it is a unisex name. We can use the nickname Addi/Addy, and when I say it out loud it makes me all warm inside just like when I came up with my Frankie's name. I've never met a girl with the name Frankie, met a few boys, but I always thought it should be for a girl.
