Here's my very long list of names I kind of like:
Serafina

Eden

Ceridwen
Evlina
Zahra
Zarayah
Vea
Zeya
Savea/Savaya
Solana
Safiya
Lehzaid
Anwen
Evliya

Ishylia
Shiylia
Aivlen
Fianna
Fiala
Fiora
Ahvila

So, can you make any suggestions for something we can both agree on?
P.S. I've been looking at baby names and reading forums so much, and it seems the same names always come up. I need something fresh!
TIA

My favourites from your list are:

Serafina
Eden
Zahra
Safiya
Fiora

You have very unusual taste. ♥ The rest of the names weren't my style.
May I ask what your other children's names are?

I actually think Serafina would be lovely with your other children's names. And it's cute, because it could honour you!
What sort of names does HE have in mind? ♥

Such a lovely long list. :) I like
Guinevere. I haven't suggested it yet, but I will. I think Guinevere Star is very elegant.

I like these but wouldn't use them:
Bronwen - would be a tongue twister with our last name
Indie - sounds funny with Star as the MN
Gwyneth - love it but too obvious a link to movie star

I've actually suggested all these and DH turned them down.
Honora
Pippa
Lavender
Fiona - love
Fern
Hazel
Liora
Iris

Gwyneth & Guinevere are my favourites of the ones you chose.
Though out of the ones your husband turned down, I ♥ Honora, Pippa, Fern, Hazel, Liora and Iris. Lavender and Fiona are also gorgeous.

Such a shame.

What about Everdine? It is funky and unusual like your other kids names but similar enough to Evelyn and Eden that your husband may like it.

PS> You may have heard of Katniss Everdeen the heroine of the Hunger Games books and movie coming out soon. But just to let you know Everdine isn't some new made up name, it is actually a traditional if a bit unusual Dutch name for girls.

Katie-Nana, Thanks for the suggestion. I do like E names, but the "dine" part sounds more masculine to me. (I've never heard of it before, by the way.) I like vowel-y, flowing names for girls.

I was telling my sister today that I've moved from suggesting names I love to names I like to names I can tolerate. Will we ever have a name?!
Here's what I think of these:

Mara - meanings are important to me, so this one's out
Celine - Dion, I don't like really obvious connections
Bridgette - cute but a tongue twister with our last name
Lorraine - old and ugly
Delilah - bad woman in the Bible
Cecelia - bad meaning
Beatrix - Potter
Susannah - too plain
Matilda - Tilly is cute. Matilda Star. I'll suggest that one.
Bethany - claimed by my sister
Seraphina - LOVE if spelled Serafina. One of my top two.
Adelaide - nah
Phoebe - nms
Aurore - i do like this one, spelled Aurora. Wouldn't want her called Rory though. Do you think it's avoidable?
Rosemary - nms
Celeste - nms
Felicity - pretty. I've been contemplating this one. Wouldn't want it shortened in any way.
Giselle - nms
Madalena - no, don't like the "mad" part
Alessandra - nah
Lucille - nms and claimed by my sister
Calliope - no
Vanessa - ugly
Adrienne - looks pretty, but I can't make it sound like a girl's name. i like Adrian for a boy
Scarlett - I just hear Scar
Melinda - ugly
Diana - ugly
Irene - ugly and old
Theodora - nms
Valentina - kind of cute but nms
Selma - ugly
Christiana - a friend's daughter
Viola - no
Augusta - no, but I like August for a boy
Jocelyn - nms
Cassiopeia - no
Prudence - ugly and old
Coraline - no
Arabella - pretty but not quite right
Penelope - cute, dh hates
Zinnia - yep, i like it. dh wants no more z names though
Octavia - nms
Katerina - i like
Jacqueline - nms
Cynthia - no
Elisabetta - a cousin is Elisabeth
Lorelei - i like
Audrina - nms
Meredith - no
Louisa - cute
Angelica - pretty
Natalia - nms
Georgiana - not bad
Annika - a friend's daughter
Violet - i want to like it. i love the flower, brings back good memories, but i can't help but think "violent" every time
Noelle - maybe for a Christmas baby
Juliette - love, but we have a cousin Juliana
Sapphira - bad woman in the Bible
Emmelina - nms
Laurel - bad associations, but I would like it otherwise
Flora - no
Sophia - too popular
Althea - ugly
Odessa - ugly
Constance - nms
Winona - ugly
Rosalind - nms
Annabella - cow
Margaret - old
Christabel- nms
Hermione - ugly
Eliza - growing on me but not really my style
Veronica - no
Phillipa - nms
Angelina - Jolie
Gabriella - we have a cousin Gabrielle
Delphia - nah
Adela - no
Roxanne - ick
Anastasia - pretty. Anastasia Star with our last name would be a mouthful though
Camille - nms
Eleanora - I like Elanora or Elanor
Odette - no
Lillith - ok
Corinna - eh
Audrey - nms
Lenora - like
Christianne - no
Alexandria - this would actually be really fitting but I just don't like it
Yvette - nms
Hazel - like, but dh doesn't
Jemima - nms
Liza - ik
Colette -no
Gwen - I like. dh doesn't
Johanna - no
Stella - nms
Melisande - no
Persephone - no
Lydia - sort of like
Halle -no way
Genevra - no
Odelia - no
Esmeralda - disney movie
Celia - bad meaning
Liberty - cute, considered this one for my 5yo, don't like Libby though
Darcy - no
June - no
Evianna - Eviana is pretty,
P.S. No offense if you love all these names. Variety in naming styles makes for a more interesting world. :)

I wouldn't use Seraphina because Seraphina Star doesn't go well together. I LOVE the name Seraphina though.

Have you ever thought of Tesla? Or even using Starrlyn as a first name?
