Hi everyone! I was telling my friend about a story I recently "completed" (as if it will ever be done) and she got a little giggly at some of the names I used for my MC's family. The names are staying in the story, no matter what, but I was wondering which of these you would use for a child.

LN: Silver

Mother: Ashira
Father: Jacob

Brother: Judah
Sister: Bethlehem nn Beth
Sister: Sheba
MC: Ezra (she's a girl, btw)
Brother: Gideon
Brother: Solomon nn Sol
Brother: Samson nn Sam
Brother: Moshe

Jacob

Judah
Bethlehem nn Beth (Bethany)
MC: Ezra (she's a girl, btw) NEVER on a girl, only on a boy
Brother: Gideon
Brother: Solomon nn Sol
Brother: Samson nn Sam

I would use these names!

I would use Jacob, Judah, Ezra (but for a boy), Gideon, Solomon, & Samson.

I'd only use Jacob, Ezra, Gideon and Samson :D
I would use Jude {instead of Judah} & Beth {instead of Bethlehem} because the names are just too out there for me.

But I can totally see them on characters in a story.

I dont really see anything "giggly" about any of these names...though some of the combinations are a bit awkward (i.e. Sheba Silver, Sol Silver) Overall the names fit well together. I would maybe think about changing the last name.

Very true. They way the story is set up, they (almost) never use the last name. Ezra Silver is the only one who is addressed like that, and it's just a formality. The family's names aren't said often. I keep flipping between Gold and Silver. Would Gold flow better?
