I've really started liking these two names (I obviously wouldn't use it as a sib set or anything ;) ). What do you guys think? Which one do you like better? I think I'm leaning towards Sabina at the moment but I also really like Sabine. And would they be better to use as a first name or middle name?

I can't really think of any combos for them. The only one I have which I kind of like is Sabina Sadie. I love the double initial names :) But I'm not sure I love this one. Are there any suggestions?

How do you pronounce Rhian? The way I am saying it, I really like it, but I could have it wrong ;)

If I were choosing one, I'd vote for Sabine.
Sabina is too close to Sabrina, which is a name I actually love, but I think if you chose something that close you'd be forever having to correct people on her name. It would get annoying.
My dd is Julieanne; no matter how slowly I say it, how often, 90% of the people in her life outside the family and close friends either call her Julianna, Julian, or Julia.
UGH.
I imagine Sabina would have the same thing, Sabrina alllllll the time.

Sabine is a name that I've used as one of my main characters in a story...to me when I hear the name I always think about the character in Disney's The Three Musketeers (1993) played by Rebecca De Mornay. In the movie her name is Sabine but in the book she goes by many different names and identities...

Her character is this strong and fiercly independent woman, who can be suductive and deadly yet you find underneath it all she has a heart...which is somewhat similar to the character in my story which is why I chose the name.

As to Sabina...I tend to think of the name Sabrina...like maybe it was a typo and the R was left out :\
