Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me :)

So, I'm at the stage of the story I'm currently writing that I can no longer refer to
the main character's flatmate (roommate? the person she shares her flat/apartment with) as... Flatmate.

The main character is about 5'7" and has dark brown hair that she dyed blonde
a long time ago. She has grey eyes. She is a police officer who is being made to do a
desk job as a punishment, which she really resents. Her name is Helena Simone O'Leary,
but she goes by Lee or Leah (the syllable in her surname).

I really want her flatmate's name to contrast! She is short (5'2'' maybe),
blonde with brown eyes and works in a large company, but at quite a low level. I see her as
having a loooooong surname, 4+ syllables, possibly Germanic? For some reason I keep
thinking it should have -hausen at the end, but my surname creativity is nil! I literally don't
know what her first name is, at all.

Ideas please! Thanks :P (and just ask if you need to/want to hear some more of the plot!) :)

Annie / Anna Baumgartner (Germanic, meaning tree nursery man XD)
Isla / Isa Beckenbauer (Germanic, basin / bowl maker)
Savannah Osterhagen (Germanic, east grove, hedge)
Emily Wannemaker (Germanic, basket maker)

Hope this helps!

Thanks Meghan! I really like Anna and Emily for first names.
Not sold on the last names you suggested but I might try Osterhagen
and Wannemaker out for a bit. :)
