Although I don't like the spelling, I think Michaela would go best with Jenna. Jenna is a simple name, so it would be wise to stick with the original spelling for Michaela

Jenna and Michaela

One of the main reasons why I adore Michaela is because it sounds so feminine and pretty ,without having those annoying Y's and K's in there.
So obviously I'd say Michaela-- it also makes the name look as strong as it sounds.
MaKayla looks made up, to me, and Mikayla falls too much into the trendy spelling category.
If the K has to be there, than I prefer Mikaela. It has kind of an Eastern European feel to it.

This is kind of hard because I like a couple of spellings for different reasons.

I like Michaela because it just looks classy, feminine and timeless.

I like Mikayla because it has "Mika" in it, which I think is an adorable nickname.

I like Mikaela because (like someone else said) it has a sort of "European flair" to it.

So...I would say it's up to you.

Jenna and Mikayla is probably my favorite though, because of the "Mika" possibility, but if you don't care for that then I would suggest Michaela. It's the most timeless and would work even when she's 60.

Michaela

This is the original spelling and the best imo. Y and K in the middle is so trendy at the moment and I think it will quickly become dated.

Unfortunately, since there are so many alternative spellings, using any version of the name is going to cause confusion and a lot of people spelling it wrong and constantly being asked how to spell it.
