So, I fell head over heels in love with the name John. probably because of a video I watched with a really nice, good looking Christian guy named Jon in it . I have NEVER liked the spelling Jon and still don't, so I fell in love with John. Since its an old fashioned name, do you think it needs a trendier name to go with it or another old fashioned name? I like names that ring like John-David but I'm also liking John Archer.

John is a really handsome and strong name. You can pretty much pair it with anything. My first serious boyfriend was named John and he was soooooo cute. John is also my husband's middle name.

I work with a guy named John. He is John R. S. III so it is obviously a family name. He is about my age, maybe 26 so it was weird to me calling him John at first since every other John I've known has been more my father's age but it fits him alright.

I also knew a John Michael who went by John Michael and I always thought it had a nice sound to it. He had a younger brother named Wesley and I thought the two names went well together. I think they had a sister named Carrie.

I also prefer the spelling John

I have a John in my year group... but I cant think of any other John's I know, under the age of 20 or so.

I love John Archer! Maybe John Silas or John Clayton as well. I'm not a huge fan of the name John... Not my cup of tea but I can totally get where your coming from! I fall in love with names of characters as well... Its terrible :/ then I only end up liking the name as long as I like the book except a few names haha!

John-David is nice as well, it does flow pretty well... Though, I still am not a huge fan of hyphenated names!

I know isn't it! I always fall for character names! Well he wasn't really a character... It was kind of a group of 8 teens trip to Vietnam. So ANYway. I also only like the name except Caspian!

I love John. I really like Jonathan, too though! (can you tell because of my signature and the "Rhymes with Last Name" Post. The guy that is almost my bf is named Jonathan. I need to find out his middle name...

I found a name that doesn't go with it! Eugene! John Eugene, even though I love both names, I was SO mad!!!
