I was flipping through a baby name book looking for names for my niece or nephew and stumbled upon these. I've heard all of them before but never really thought about them. What do you think?

Ariella
Odette
Vivian
Alicia (a-LEE-see-ah)
Kendra
Imogen

Thoughts?

Love Ariella, it's not used that much, and sounds really girly and feminine.
Odette is also up there near the top of my list, it's the name of the white swan from Swan Lake, and I really like the name.
Vivian I'm not really fond of, but it might be good as a middle name (Alicia Vivian?)
Alicia I like, but I'm not sure how. It's not on my list of top names, but certainly is a nice one.
Kendra is okay, but I'm not sure about it. I don't think I've heard it before, but it has that exotic feel to it, and now that I think about it it's actually quite nice.
I definitely have a bias for the name Imogen (it's my cousins name), and I think the combination Imogen Charlotte is cute, but again, I am deffo biased. But I always liked the name Imogen before that, so, I dunno, It's a great name, and possible nickname could be Immy?

More suggestions:
Arielle - Different version of Ariella, pronounced the same way.
Odile - The other swan from Swan Lake
Alyssum - Flower name, name I like a lot, could be combined with Odette (Alyssum Odette?)
Isolde - Cute but ages well, nicknames Izi, Sol?
Melisande - Again, it's cute but I think it ages well. Nicknames Mel, Milly?

Umm, can't think of any more atm, will post more suggestions later :)

I can't believe you suggested this! I love the name Isolde. It's my main guilty pleasure but everyone says that I'm nuts!

You have such a fantastic taste in names, let me say that first

Ariella--this is one I'm not a huge fan of. I feel like its too flowery, or something, for my taste at least. I'd prefer either Ara or Ella
Odette--I love this. i don't think i'd ever use it, but I love it. For some reason, it's reminding me of Ophelia, which I adore
Vivian---this is easily one of my favorite names, though I prefer it spelt Vivienne for some reason
Alicia (a-LEE-see-ah)---I love your prn. so much more that uh-LEESH-uh. uh-LEE-see-uh is just so pretty and delicate. Though I prefer Alice, I also quite like Alicia
Kendra--I like it, but I don't at the same time. It's really hard to explain...its a very substantial name. Sort of like Megan or Terri or Alexandra...and I'm not usually a huge fan of those names (I like delicate and pretty most of the time) but I don't hate it either...I'd just never use it
Imogen--there's something I simply adore about this name. It's unique and underused. I love it

Imogen, Vivian and Ariella are my favourites :)

Your prn of Alicia is PERFECT :D It's the only one I like :) Alessia might also be an idea!

Kendra is really NMS but Odette has always fascinated me! I could never use it, but there's something gorgeous about it :) <3

Thanks everybody!

I don't think that I could ever use Odette as a first name but I might be able to use it as a middle name. :)

Ariella - Not my style. It feels really fussy and over the top. I don't care for Ariel much either, I just think of the little mermaid.
Odette - Not a fan. I find it very blunt and hard sounding. I much prefer Ophelia or Odelia. The dette ending sounds like debt.
Vivian - Not something I would use myself but I can understand the appeal. I prefer the spelling Vivienne.
Alicia (a-LEE-see-ah) - I think this is more commonly pronounced A-lee-sha. I have heard it said both ways but I think it would cause some confusion. Pronounced A-lee-sha it feels dated, I prefer a-lee-see-ah myself. Perhaps another spelling? I like Alessia (a-less-see-uh).
Kendra - Not my style. It feels dated.
Imogen - This is guilty pleasure for me. Not something I would use myself but I like it.

What about the spelling Alesia for the prn. uh-LEE-see-a? Would it be misprounced as a-less-see-uh?

At first glance I'd prn it A-less-ee-uh.. Maybe Alissia?.. hmm..

I wish there was a spelling that didn't look trendy.. the only spelling I can think of that wouldn't get miss pronounced is Alyssia.. :/ <3
