I've been thinking about this name for a while now, unsure exactly how I feel about it.

It's pronounced AHN-zah (at least that's how I've been saying it)

So what do you think? Do you think it goes with Saida? I've been rethinking my name list recently, and I've been developing an attraction toward unique, exotic sounding names. Saida and Anza have been appealing to me lately because I find them to be unique while holding a certain beauty--and not feeling way too out there.

Thanks!

How is Saida pronounced?

I really like Anza! I think that it's really pretty. It's familiar yet unique which is my favorite kind!

Saida is prn. like SAY-duh. The spelling i first saw was Sada, but I think Saida is more likely to be prn the right way. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm really going out on a limb here and breaking away from what is usually my style, but what do you guys think of Anza Lyric?

Hmm. I'm in between on Anza Lyric. There is an appeal to the name. (As well as the sibset Saida and Anza). But, it is not something I would personally use.

I like Saida (very similar to Zayda) but Anza is a bit awkward to me. It almost sounds like Anwser...

Yes, I picked up on that, which I think might be one of the reasons I was so drawn it it :(

And as for the prn. of Anza, I do agree. I haven't completely come to terms with how it sounds, but the more I say, the more my ears get used to it...I'm still on the fence, though

On another note, I was just talking to someone who thought that Anza could be a cute nickname for Esperanza. WDYT? Like it better a nickname rather than full name?
