I haven't posted a list up in a while, and I don't have one I want to post today, but I would like some opinions on some names and combos I've been crushing on lately. I love double middle names, but recently I've been liking one middle a little bit more.

Amoret - Prn am-or-ray. I found this in my name book, and I'm really loving the sound of it. At the moment I have it in the combo Amoret Vesper, but I'm not sure I love it.

Elowen - I came across this on Nameberry, and I love how floaty and elegant it feels. I have it in the combo Elowen Hero right now, which I think is adorable, but does Hero work for a girl?

Austen - I'm not a huge fan of Austin on boys, but I love Austen for a girl. The literary connection is great, and I love the spelling and sound of the name. Do you think it works on a girl? What would you pair it with?

Arabella Elise - I'm crushing so hard on this combo right now. Do you think it flows?

Rafferty - I fell in love with this the moment I saw it in my name book lol. It has a handsome fell to it, but at the same time it feels fresh and new. What combos would you put it in?

Rupert - Love it's charm, it's handsome sound, and I love how the whole name feels. It just has a feeling that I love, and it's hard to explain lol. What names would go as middles for Rupert?

Reeve - I think I prefer this as a middle, but if I found the right name then I'd love it as a first. What are your thoughts?


Any opinions/suggestions would be great. If you want to suggest middles then combos with one or two middles are greatly appreciated. I appreciate there's quite a few names here, so just do what you can/want to.

BOY have you got some Beauties!!   My favourites are:

 

Elowen - this is EXQUISITE!!  Is it pronounced the way it is written El-oh-wen??  What does it mean?

 

Arabella Elise - LOVE IT!!!!!   But then maybe I'm biased as my GORGEOUS Baby Girl is Arabella Soraya Hope!  LOVE Elise as a MN though too!!!  BEAUTIFUL combination!!

 

Rafferty - WOW!!  This is SUCH a COOL Boy's Name!!  What does it mean please?  I LOVE Raff as a nickname too!!  I would do:

 

Rafferty James

Rafferty Ford

Rafferty Fergus

 

Rupert - One of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE Boys Names!!!  If Arabella had been a Boy (and Anthony hadn't insisted on Johann Sebastian-HIS All Time Favourite) then she would have been Rupert Carrington Anthony or Rupert Anthony Carrington!!

According to Nameberry, Elowen is Cornish and means Elm, and it is pronounced just like it's written.
Rafferty is Irish, and means floodtide, abundance, or prosperity.
From your suggestions I like Rafferty James the best.

I love the sound of Amoret, but the spelling kinda turns me off it I can't think of a "better" way to spell it, but idk. Amoret Vesper sounds really mysterious and attractive, I like!

 

I really like Elowen! Hehe I think I came across the name first on Nameberry as well I think Hero sounds a little more masculine though. 

 

I'm a bit the opposite, sorry! Austen feels all masculine to me <3 

 

Arabella Elise is beautiful, though the -ella and El- kinda clash. I like it anyway though, both are just such flowy and girly names!

 

I've seen the name Rafferty around, but its not grown on me yet I can see it being used now adays without being too strange though. Fresh and new, indeed <3 

 

Rupert is such a cute name, but a GP for me. A name I'd adore seeing used on someone elses kid! Also makes me think of Family Guy, hehe <3 Hmm... Rupert George, Rupert Henry, Rupert Tobiah, Rupert Noah, Rupert Loclan, Rupert Holden, Rupert Bennett, Rupert Hamish, Rupert Samson, Rupert Wilson. I particularly love Rupert Hamish actually! It sounds soft but still masculine <3 

 

I like Reeve, it definitely fits well as a middle name Mainly cause its short and simple. But it could make a fine first name as well. I almost think of it in the same way as Rose.. just fits great with many names as a middle but doable and cute as a first. Benno Reeve / Reeve Benno, Phineas Reeve / Reeve Phineas, Paxton Reeve / Reeve Paxton, Xander Reeve / Reeve Xander?

Amoret - Love it as a middle

Elowen - I can't even tell you how much I love it. I love "-wen" names.

Austen - Love. Esp as a middle. I am not a fan of it on boys, either, but I love it on girls. Only this spelling, too I like Austen Lily

Arabella Elise - I am not a fan of ending a's into beginning e's (personally don't like the flow), but I've heard much worse. Both names are adorable, I love their feel. I think I'd like it better with another name inbetween, like Arabella June Elise.

Rafferty - this is one I personally wouldn't use, but would LOVE to meet on another person's kid

Rupert - Not a fan, sorry

Reeve - Hmm. I like it, but I prefer Reeves.
