What name would you pick for a baby girl born during a war?
It's a futuristic story and I don't know how to pick the perfect name.

Important aspects:
A young couple is expecting a surprise/miracle baby and they decide to wait until the birth to find out the gender. They are refugees from war and they both have important roles in this war. Their baby girl arrives a few weeks earlier than expected and they don't have a name picked out (first daughter). She will have dark hair and grey/blue eyes. What name should they pick after going through this unexpected and difficult journey?

So far, I'm leaning towards Victoria (victory). I'm looking for a strong name with an amazing meaning (not Grace, Faith, Hope). Probably a word name, a virtue name, a mythological name or a flowery name/ nature themed.
Some names that I have considered: Agatha, Aurora, Delilah, Diana, Flora, Jade, Harmony, Melody, Phoenix, Stella (or Star), Sunshine, Violet, Willow,...

I'm not sure if I should select an unique name or a traditional name that will sound unique in the future (where most people have names that are considered uncommon nowadays).

I also accept suggestions for a boy! I'm thinking: Apollo, Arrow, Arthur, Bear, Benjamin, Blaze, Liam, Lucas/Luke, River, Theodore (Theo),...

Thank you for your help! 😊

Laurel- the laurel tree is a symbol of victory or triumph

Hope was my first thought, ha ha.

Girls:
Amity - means peace
I also second the suggestion of Laurel because it symbolizes victory, is a nature name AND has mythological significance)
Lina - means light
Alexandra/Alexandria- defender of men
Olivia - the olive branch represents peace
Nicole/Nicola - victory

Boys:
Valor
Freedom (a gp for me, I wouldn't use it for a real baby, but for a story...)
Alexander - defender of men
Oliver - olive branch
Callum - means dove, representing peace
Axel - means peace
Nicholas - means victory of the people

Another idea would be for them to name the baby after a loved one or friend who died in the war

Thank you for your help!

Laurel is pretty! I really like Alexandra/Alexander, Olivia/Oliver and Nicholas.

A few days ago I came across Gaia and I'm in love with that name! It's a mythological name and it means "earth mother". I also saw that Gaia means "happy" in italian. What do you think? What names would you suggest for Gaia's siblings?

I love Victoria! It's connection to victory draws me in even more. If you're looking for middles, what about...

Victoria Abigail (beautiful victory)

Victoria Faye (trust in victory)

Victoria Jubilee (joyful victory)
