We are expecting a baby in August. We have a boy name picked out but I'm still not sure about a girls name.  Ben likes Bonnie Mae which would honor his grandmother (Leona Mae).  Our son is Wiley James Benjamin and the boy name we have picked out is Theodore Lark Alfred "Teddy" after my grandfather (Lark Alfred).  As you can see, we aren't afraid of having more than one middle name.  Ben prefers just Bonnie Mae for a girl, but being the name nerd that I am, I feel it is just too simple and imcomplete next to Wiley's name.  I would prefer to add a second middle name.

River is a name that I've had on my girls list for a while.  It makes reference to the fact that Ben grew up along the Mississippi River and where we live now is also near a large river.  Just after this baby was conceived, we went to visit Ben's family and the day after we left, there was flooding along the Mississippi and a levy broke near Ben's home town causing a lot of people to loose their homes and Ben's family was blocked off for a few days. At the same time halfway across the country back at home, we had flood watches for a week and the river was higher than I had ever seen it in the 10 years that I've lived here. I think River, a name that I love, would also allude to what a strong impact the river has on our lives.

Elizabeth is a family name on my side. I like that it fits the classic style of Bonnie Mae & Wiley James Benjamin.

I will most likely call her Bo for a nickname.  Last name sounds like Calvert.

I voted for Bonnie Mae Elizabeth. While I love the name River as well, I am just not too sure it fits style or syllable wise with the rest of the name. Congrats on your baby!! So exciting! :D

I love the two middle names. :) Hard decision between the two, but Bonnie Mae River is getting me right now <3
