Anyone have strong opinions on the Nora vs Norah debate (as a given, standalone first name, not as nn for Eleanor)?

Would love to get a general sense of popular opinion. Been loving the name lately.

Thanks!!

I feel the h is unnecessary. Nora works just fine as a stand alone or nn. Honestly, reading it or writing it, I would prefer/assume just Nora. Beautiful name!

This is one I go back and forth on way too much.
I think I like Nora better but Norah looks more...'complete'? as a stand alone name?
I don't know. I'd probably use Nora over Norah personally.

I like Nora. I guess it would be the same as Sarah v Sara...my sister is Sara but Sarah is the more popular spelling.

I like Norah....Nora is the main spelling and I like different. The silent H is just like the silent E 's in most names.

I prefer Nora without the H myself. It feels.. unecessary, to me. Like it's sort of hanging off the edge of the name. :)

I am from Poland and I don't understand what is the difference between pronunciation Nora and Norah. In Poland girl names are always ended with A. Nora is really rare name and is more suitable for pets, especially dogs.

I prefer Nora, it just looks cleaner to me. Plus Norah makes me want to pronounce it nor-ah instead of nor-uh.

Nora is such a beautiful and simple (in a good way) name. Like a lot of the posters before me, the H seems unnecessary. To me it also takes out some of the elegance for me. That said, I would definitely say Nora :)

Norah looks like a desperate feminization of Noah. It looks clumsy and feels a bit strange to add the 'h' when writing it out

Nora on the other hand looks more like it's own name rather than the counter part to Noah. It flows nicer when writing and looks cleaner.
