So, in my Sunday School class today, there was a little girl whose name was pronounced like Cheyenne with an "a" on the end, and I asked her how to spell it for her name tag. She told me "Shyanna" but protested that I spelled it wrong when I tried to put the tag on her. She kept telling me "it's a big A" and I couldn't figure out what she meant. When her mom arrived to pick her up, I asked her mom how to spell it so I'd know next time that I teach. It is:
ShyAnna
Personally, I think it's awful. WDYT?
ShyAnna

I used to REALLY like this name, and I actually know a girl with it, though this spelling looks really bad. I prefer Cheyanna

Yeah; I don't mind Cheyanna. It is the spelling with the big A that bugs me. It's like her name is an adjective and then a name (Shy Anna) and I can just see the teasing she'll get in school.
And BTW, the ironic part is that she doesn't seem very shy. . .
