Baby Girl is on her way! Kathryn is my grandmother, but we don't want her to be a Katie or Kay or Kathy. Rose is my own middle and for my great grandmothers (Rose and Rosa) and we like the idea of a little Rosie. So Rose Kathryn Richter or Kathryn Rose Richter?

Rose Kathryn

If you're planning on calling her Rose, it makes more sense for that to be her first name. My dad is called by his middle, and has run into some problems over the years because of his different first name...(signing documents, legal things, etc.) Plus, Rose Kathryn flows well enough! Good luck!

Both are beautiful. I think Kathryn Rose flows a little better, but I agree that if you plan to call her a derivative of Rose, go with Rose Kathryn.

I agree with Jenny. Kathryn Rose flows better. Although, it depends on the surname...
