So yesterday I was looking up Irish names to honour my heritage and then I realized it was almost St.Patricks day. So I decided to post them, because I'm working/going out tomorrow (my first legal St.Patricks day. ;) )

These are the ones that I found and love:

Aibhlinn (Ave-leen): Wished for/longed for child

Aoife (Ee-Fa): Beautiful, radiant joy

Ashling: A vision or dream

Bridget

Caoimhe (Kee-va): Gentle, beautiful, precious

Einin (A-neen): Little Bird

Iona (eye-oh-na): Blessed

Cadhla (Kyla): Beauty

Maebh (Maeve): Cause of great joy

Niamh (Neve): Radiance

Orlaith (Orla): Golden Princess

Radha (Row-a): Vision

Siobhan (Shiv-awn): Form of Joan

Ultana (Ul-Tan-Ah)

Aedan (Aiden): Born of Fire

Cian/Kian (Key-In: Ancient, enduring

Cillian (Kil-e-an)

Declan: Full of goodness

Fionn/Finn: Fair Headed

Liam: Strong Protector

Lochlan/Lochlann (Lock-lun): Land of the lochs

Pierce

Reilly/Riley: Courageous, valiant

Seamus: James

Sean: God’s gracious gift

Edit: This website is really good for hearing pronunciations of the names. You just have to click "view Audio of names" after you've listened to the first section of names.

They also have really interesting meanings/stories about the names.
