Our short list includes the following 9 names per gender. These are the names we agree on.
Listed next to each is the possible nicknames we like. They wouldnt necessarily be called by these nicknames all the time (well aside from DJ, lol).

Alexander Lucas "Alex, Xander, Lex"
David Ernest II "Dave, Davey" - Dustin's dad's name so not sure what we'd call him but these are the only nicknames I can think of.
Dustin Ernest Jr "DJ" - Dustin's name so he'd be DJ most of the time.
Jackson "Jack"
Jason "Jay, Jace"
Nathan "Nate"
Phillip "Phil"
Vincent "Vin, Vinnie, Vince"
William "Bill, Will, Liam, Billy"

Jasmine Marie - Jasmine is a friend of mine that passed 10 years ago this fall. Marie is the middle name of me, my mother and my grandma.
Jessa - I prefer Jessa while he prefer Jessica.
Jessica "Jessie, Jess, Jessa"
Lorraine / Loraine "Raine, Lori" - Dustin's mothers name is Lora nn Lori so this is kind of a play on that.
Madeleine "Maddie"

Our tops for each are David and Nathan for the boys and Jasmine and Aspen for girls.
Out of the other names listed above what would put for the 3rd boy and 3rd girl?

I've always had a soft spot for Carla. That would probably be my next vote. Jessa is pretty too.

I love Jackson. That would be my third choice for a boy

I like David, not Ernest at all. Seems like one ofthose middle names that kids get embarassed about and don't tell their friends. I also don't like any nicknames for David, really, haha

I like Dustin, but again, not Ernest. I really don't like the nickname DJ, partly because of the girly-ness of it because of Full House and partly because the sound isn't my style

I love Jackson if it has a less popular middle name, personal favorite is Jackson Ezra.

Like this one. Jace is a good nn.
Nathan "Nate"
I like Nathan and absolutely love Nate!
Phillip "Phil"
Seems dated, especially with Phil as a nn. I prefer nn Pip.
Vincent "Vin, Vinnie, Vince"
Dated, but better than Phillip. I like Vince as a nn, not Vinnie at all.
William "Bill, Will, Liam, Billy"
Love this. I like the nicknames Will and Liam.

Alexander Lucas "Alex, Xander, Lex" - I think this is very handsome, and I can picture it on a baby and a grown man.
David Ernest II "Dave, Davey" - I'm not a fan of either name, but they both honor two of my grandparents lol. Maybe Nessie when he's little, or to family? He probably won't want to be called that when he's older, but it's a suggestion lol.

Jackson "Jack" - This is cute. I like the nickname Jack, and also Sonny.
Jason "Jay, Jace" - Not a fan of Jason, but Jay and Jace are cute.

Phillip "Phil" - Not a fan.

William "Bill, Will, Liam, Billy" - Cute. I have 2 cousins named William, 1 nn Will, and the other nn Bill lol. I prefer Will or Liam as a nn.

Arietta "Ari, Etta" - I prefer Arietty, but Arietta is cute too. Ari and Etta are adorable.

Elise - It's cute, but not really my style.
Jasmine Marie - I love this combo, especially because it means so much to you.
Jessa - I also prefer Jessa over Jessica, although neither are my favourite name.
