Ran across some Scandinavian names (thanks to BabyNames) and I was drawn in by these three, Ottilia(g), Halden(B), and Torsten(B). WDYT?

my B's got turned into faces haha! I kind of like the idea of Tilly or Lia(leah) as a nn for Ottilia. And I'm like Torsten the most from the two boys names. No combos yet but I feel like if I used Ottilia as a fn, I would want something water related as the middle but not Bay. (it sounds like a place in the mn spot...Hudson Bay, Ottilia Bay, ect) Do you think Torsten could work for a girl as well? Tori as a nickname maybe or is that a stretch?

Torsten is all boy to me but its a fantastic name. I love Scandinavian names. They just sound so perfect to me.
I like Otillia but prefer Ottilie however they're both nice. Tilly would be my pick for a nickname.
Halden is one I haven't heard of before but it doesn't sound bad at all.

I like Ottilie too but the flow seems off with our surname. (and I apparently have a think for the letter Y and -ia names. Beginning to notice this lol) I started to fiddle with Torsten as a middle name for a girl, but I wouldn't ever use it as a first. Would Tory be a stretch of a nickname for Torsten though? It's that or Tors and I'm sure someone would call him Torso -_-

I agree with Erin in that I prefer Ottilie over Ottilia, and Tilly would be my nn pick too.

Halden is nice, though not my favourite, and Torsten is very handsome. In all honesty I can't picture Torsten on a girl, either as a first or middle name, it just sounds too harsh to me. I think Torsten nn Tory on a little boy would be very cute, and I don't think it's a stretch at all.

Ditto on Tory. It'd be cute on a boy but not so much on a girl.

any ideas on combos for Ottilia and Torsten? I'm having no luck with names as of late. I've got nothing.
