Elizabeth is my name, so I love it.
If anybody calls me Beth, I kick them. LOL.

Audrey is beautiful and classy.

Vivienne and Lorelai aren't my style, but they are still pretty.

Edie... not into diminutives as names, though the British seem to be. I don't really get it, I guess.

Gianna is cute, but outrageously popular in the US now for some reason (ranked 17 in New York, where I live). I much prefer Giada.

I'll admit the nn Elle for Elizabeth is really growing on me :]

I'm still obsessed with Violet, Ivy, Vivienne (It seems I like names with 'V's in them).. and Audrey, Adele and Quinn.

Right now, my favourite combos are;

Violet
*Violet Anne
Violet Selene
Violet Elise
Violet Francesca
Violet Genevieve
Violet Adele

Ivy
Ivy Celine
*Ivy Helena
*Ivy Cate
Ivy Lucille
Ivy Rosalind; nn. Ivy-Rose

Vivienne
Vivienne Piper
*Vivienne Grace
Vivienne Claire
Vivienne Lucy
Vivienne Harper

Audrey
*Audrey Hazel
Audrey Charlotte
Audrey Claire

Adele
Adele Georgia (Though I prefer Georgia Adele)
*Adele Scarlett
Adele Rosalind
Adele Vivienne

Quinn
*Quinn Isobel (Ditto)
Quinn Adelaide
Quinn Rosalind

Though Audrey, Adele and Quinn appear to be slipping in to my mn slots :]

THANK you to everyone who commented ;D

Now, another question.

What are your opinions on the names Annie, Carys, Max, Theo/Theodore, Imogen, Nolan, Alexandra, Jude, Caleb, Emily, Henry and Eva? My newest obsessions!

Thank you in advance. ♥

Annie - I prefer Anna as a first name, obviously it is one of my favorites. Annie I've never really thought about before but it pales in comparision to Anna IMO.

Carys - This name looks beautiful and has a wonderful meaning. But the sound puts me off a bit. I think it has to do with my aversion to K names and names with the hard K sound. Just a personal dislike of mine.

Max - I adore the nn Max. However I'm not too fond of the longer names...Maximillian is toooo long (I dislike this one least), Maxwell is too eh and Maximus is unappealing as well. If I could get by with the first name Max it might just grow on me.

Theo/Theodore - All around Theo/Theodore is a great name that I like A LOT!!! But the possible nn Teddy puts me off a bit.

Imogen - I really like this name. I probably would never use it for a first name but it definitely has middle name potential. It has such a different sound from any other name and is very beautiful.

Nolan - This name is just Eh to me. Not a fan.

Alexandra - I went from loving Alexis when I was younger, to Alexa...now my new Alex- obsession is Alexandra. I think it would make a beautiful middle name, however I am hesitant to use it since the Alex- names are SOOOOOOO popular over here. Alessandra is another beautiful alternative, and has the possible nn Alice/Aless.

Jude - LOVE!

Caleb - I like this name, but I dont LOVE it. :\

Emily - I really like this name as well...though I am more fond of the name Emilia (which I feel is less Plain Jane) and the nn Emmy is supper cute.

Henry - This name is making a come back in the US. I do LIKE this name, but to me it doesnt make the cut. Just a bit too stuffy IMO.

Eva - I know one Eva my age. I always thought her name was classically beauiful and still unusual. Now though it is very popular and I fear will blend in with all the Ava's and Evie's. Though IMO Eva is 10x more cool. The Eva I knew always said the one thing she disliked about her name was that it was Hitler's girlfriend's name.

Wow thanks Katie! :] ♥

I totally agree about the Max thing. I dislike all the longer versions. Maxwell is the only one I can kind of agree to.. but I would MUCH rather just Max :]

I think it stands well on it's own as a name, just like Ellie and Jake do!

As for Theo(dore) I love it. I dislike Teddy though.. I love the nn Theo! But at the end of the day, if my child likes Teddy, that'd be their choice (though I'd be calling 'em Theo ;D)

I love Alexandra and here I've only met two Alexandra's. One being a very good friend of mine :] So I am considering it in the mn slot.

My one problem with Emily is it is VERY close to Amelie (My top girl name, that's been at the top for the last.. 2 years?)...

I can't decide which I prefer!

I adore Eva/Evie.. I just think that Eva sounds more.. 'womanly'. I can see it on a little girl but on a grown woman as well. As much as I love Evie, it DOES seem very sweet.. maybe a little too cutesy. PLUS I could call her Evie anyway!

I see what you mean about the Hitler thing.. and since I'm jewish it DOES bother me.. but at the same time, I'm not naming my kid Hitler; and I doubt most people would even acknowledge that! ;D -fingers crossed-

Thank you so much for your feedback Katie! It helped loads :]] ♥

Thanks for replying to my post :) I'll return the favor. Please don't mind all of the spelling/grammatical errors.
*takes deep breath*

Violet - I love Violet only slightly less than Vivienne.
*Violet Anne - 6th place, I just find Anne too simple and boring. I don't think they flow that well together, either. The "et" ending with Anne just doesn't feel like it works.
Violet Selene - 5th place, kind of hard to say for some reason... I think Violet Selena (or Selena Violet, which is ♥♥♥♥♥) sounds better.
Violet Elise - okay, 4th place. Elise is a tad boring, especially comparted with the last 2 combos
Violet Francesca - never been a Francesca fan, the "chesk" sound in it feel unattractive and soap operaish. If that makes sense...
Violet Genevieve - my fave Violet combo ever! it is like a 9.9/10 or something. I ♥♥♥♥♥ it.
Violet Adele - 2nd fave! I love Adele, especially as a mn, but I can't use it bc most of my faves end in A and it gets tongue tying.

Ivy - Kind of a meh name... I like your other faves better.
Ivy Celine - I prefer Selene. I'm not really liking the flow of this one much.
*Ivy Helena - love! I ♥♥♥♥♥ Helena, and though Ivy isn't a fave of mine, they sound great together.
*Ivy Cate - styles just feel weird together. 5th from me.
Ivy Lucille - nice, but I prefer your other combos 3rd place
Ivy Rosalind; nn. Ivy-Rose - sound good together, I really ♥♥♥♥♥ this.

Vivienne - ♥♥♥♥♥ this name, always have. Strong but pretty.
Vivienne Piper - Like, though Vivienne Harper definitely feels better. 2nd place.
*Vivienne Grace - I love it as a first name, but it feels meh as a middle. Tied for 3rd place.
Vivienne Claire -ditto above. Tied for 3rd place.
Vivienne Lucy - Flow feels off. I think they would sound better flipped. Lucy Vivienne. Ooh pretty. That would be 1st place. May I suggest Vivienne Lucille?
Vivienne Harper - Me likey this a lottt. ♥♥♥♥♥ My fave Vivienne combo of yours.

Audrey - I've known a few. Never found it very pretty or especially nice.
*Audrey Hazel - I'd prefer Hazel Audrey. 2nd fave Audrey name.
Audrey Charlotte - never been a fan of Charlotte. 3rd place.
Audrey Claire - my fave from your Audrey list. Nice sound to it.

Adele - love, but prefer as middle. Only kind of like as a fn.
Adele Georgia (Though I prefer Georgia Adele) - me too. Adele Georgia sounds off. 4th place.
*Adele Scarlett - eh. Scarlett Adele sounds better. 3rd place.
Adele Rosalind - 2nd place. I like both names, and Rosalind is a lovely mn, but I think you could do better.
Adele Vivienne - my fave, very proper and old school. 8/10 only because I'd prefer Vivienne Adele.

Quinn - I don't really like Quinn except as a nn for Quentin
*Quinn Isobel - Not a fan of either name. I do prefer Isobel to Isabelle, though. 2nd place.
Quinn Adelaide - LOVE Adelaide. Good sound/flow.
Quinn Rosalind - a bit N heavy. Flow is off. 3rd place

Annie - I just think of the musical. NMS
Carys - ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful, slightly exotic, great meaning, versatile. I'd use it, but only as a mn.
Max - prefer as a nn, but I'd definitely use it.
Theo/Theodore - like it, would use but only as a mn.
Imogen - pretty. It's really grown on me, and I love Immy or Gen/Genny as nn. I'd use it, but only as a mn.
Nolan - ditto Theo/Theodore.
Alexandra - don't really like it.
Jude - I can't get over all the words that rhyme with it. Rude, prude, crude, Jude.
Caleb - never liked it.
Emily - Okay, I prefer Emilia.
Henry - like. It's very nice.
Eva - nice, prefer it to Ava. I'd never use it myself, though.

Didn't mean to insult or be harsh or anything. :))) Good luck!

Woahhh thanks Girls! :]

I totally get you on the Francesca thing Heather ;D

I've never really liked it, but for some reason it's growing on me.. -blush-

Not sure I would ever use it though. At the moment it's more on the maybe list!

Ivy Rosalind and Ivy Helena are at the top right now.

Ivy Helena's been on my list for years now! Hahah I was going through a bit of a greek mythology loving phase. I was obsessed with Helena, Troy, Paris, Maia, Orion, Athena, Calliope, Phoebe etc

I totally forgot about half of them until now!

Which reminds me.. the name Thea? What do you ladies think?? :]

Thea Isobel ♥

Haddie, I love Carys Vivienne, Annie Grace, Max Oliver, Nolan Jacoby, Jude Alexander, Emily Carys and Eva Noelle (Which has been on my list for about 6 months! Haha)

♥ Thanks girls!

Glad to help :D I do love looking through your lists... because you like a lot of similar names and always add new ones I seem to like! :)

RJ likes Thea at the moment, so she told me last time I talked to her :) I like Thea Isobel, though the flow is slightly oof :/ going from the a in Thea to the I in Isobel sounds slightly awkward when I say it... here's a few suggestions, hopefully they'll help!

~ Thea Madeleine
~ Thea Beatrice
~ Thea Dorothy
~ Thea Florence
~ Thea Simone
~ Thea Samantha
~ Thea Raine
~ Thea Cassidy
~ Thea Louise *
~ Thea Natalie/Natalia
~ Thea Phoebe (flow maybe slightly off, but I still like it! <3 )
~ Thea Calliope
~ Thea Charlotte
~ Thea Cadmium
~ Thea Victoire

I like Thea, but it reminds me of Thalia (which I definitely like more). Thea doesn't feel quite substantial enough for me to love it, it's almost better as a nickname.

Reese, Beth (On it's own or as a nn for Bethany/Elizabeth), Gianna, Audrey, Edie, Lorelai and Vivienne? :] ♥

Reese - I actually really like, but its not my style.
Bethany - I don't like Beth on its own.. Technically because its sounds funny when I say it... I'm English.
Gianna - CUTE!
Audrey - Nice, but too popular right now.
Edie - Too short.
Loralei - Can't say this one either. :)
Vivienne - LOVE!

Annie: You said that you have Amelie on your list. Amelie is a gorgeous name and Amelie and Annie dont sound great together as a sibset so I would stick with using just Amelie and maybe you could put Annie on your middle names list.

Carys: I love this name. Its on my list of names im afraid to use but lately its growing on me more. You would pronounce it as 'Care-us' right? A girly middle name such as Carys Isobel is beautiful.

Max: I adore the name Max. The only thing is that it has that dog association. But if your fine with that then go for it.

Theodore: I dont like it at all. I think its a little too dated for my tastes but other then that theres nothing not to like about the name.

Imogen: I have never been one of those people to find the name Imogen pretty. I like the name Indigo though. I just dont like the 'Im' sounding part it sounds similar to image.

Nolan: Cute and a classic boys name.

Alexandra: I would use this as a middle name especially if its your friends name. I do prefer the boys name Alexander which I must say I love!

Jude: Not my style.

Caleb: I love this name, its my favorite off your list. :) Very handsome and can flow quite nicely with various middle name options.

Emily: Beautiful name.

Henry: Adorable it reminds me of a 'kings' name.

Eva: Gorgeous, the nickname Eve fits along well with it too.
