I was at the store this morning and I heard a mother call to her daughter, whose name was Ashelia. She said it as ah-shay-lee-ah. I've never heard this name before, but I really like it. I think Ash would make a nice nickname.

Nameberry doesn't have any info on it, which is poo. Did you by any chance see what ethnicity the parent/child was? That sometimes helps to begin to figure out the origin of a name.

Blush- Both mother and child were fair and had light blond hair. So maybe they have roots in northern Europe, or maybe Ireland.
