I don't want to rain on your parade but if you are concerned about the popularity of the middle name 'Marie" you may want to rethink naming your daughter any variation on Lil-names Lilliana, Lillian, Lily, Lilly, Lil etc. They are ALL extremely popular these days as are many many "L" names. SORRY!

I don't mind Lily. It isn't as common as Marie is for a middle name. At least where I am. I don't think I actually have met a Lily (unless you count characters on television) but I've meet numerous of people with the middle name Marie. My high school graduaction had so many Maries. A lot Ashley Marie too.
And thank you about Kairi!

and from there you can look to see ranking in your state and states around you through 'Name Mapper' (and the info is from 2007 Lily has gone up again in 2008!)

and more importantly see trends of names moving up the charts with 'Name Voyager'

Marie was a very popular middle names from the 1970's through the 80's but Lily is omnipresent on today's playgrounds.
PS If you really love a name it doesn't matter as long as you go in with eyes wide open as to name's true popularity
