So talking names with my sister has gotten me thinking I need to expand my lists up a bit. She mentioned that there aren't really any family names that she would like to use...I've always liked the idea of using the double middle name Lark Alfred after our grandfather "L.A." (Lark Alfred Jr.) It is important to me to use both names in the middle spot because my grandfather goes by L.A. and I just can't picture using one without the other...they just go together.

Whitman Lark-Alfred used to be at the top of my boy name list. Though I still like the name Whitman, I've lost my love for this name. I still really like the idea of using Lark-Alfred in the middle name spot however. The problem is that I don't have any boys names that I love that sound great with Lark-Alfred.

My problem is that I tend to like names with similar sounds in them...Ls, Es and As for boys. And those tend to clash/mesh too much with Lark-Alfred.

Here are my tops at the moment...

Eller
Wiley
Amos

I'm still unsure about...

Rand (too incomplete? Not a fan of Randall)
Jude (Not sure if I LOVE it :\)
Theodore (LOVE Theodore, dislike nicknames possiblities)

Other names I like...

Abram
August
Alistair (mn)
Christopher (mn)
Elliot
Ferris (mn)
James
Jesse
Landon
Max
Oliver
Reid
Sebastian (mn)
Thomas
Wes(ley)
William

None of these really go with Lark Alfred :\

SO, Any suggestions on first names that would go with Lark-Alfred would be great. :)

Thanks!

Oooh, a challenge.(;

Paired with Lark-Alfred...

Eller Lark-Alfred
Wiley Lark-Alfred
Amos Lark-Alfred

..these seem a little "L" heavy, except for Amos. Amos Lark-Alfred is my fav out of those.

Rand - What about Randy? Randolph? Rand Lark-Alfred does seem like it's missing something...can't put my finger on it.
Jude - I really like this with Lark-Alfred! It sounds like a strong, handsome name.
Theodore - This sounds good too. As for nicknames, what about Tad, Ted, Teddy, Theo, Tudor, Dory?

I actually think Christopher, James, or Oliver could work.
Here are more suggestions (I stayed away from ones starting with L.) :

Abel Lark-Alfred
Adrian Lark-Alfred
Donovan Lark-Alfred
Dorian Lark-Alfred
Emerson Lark-Alfred
Edison Lark-Alfred
Ezra Lark-Alfred
Finnegan Lark-Alfred
Gideon Lark-Alfred
Gray Lark-Alfred
Hunter Lark-Alfred
Jasper Lark-Alfred
Jeremiah Lark-Alfred
Miles Lark-Alfred
Moses Lark-Alfred
Owen Lark-Alfred
Roman Lark-Alfred
Rufus Lark-Alfred
Simeon Lark-Alfred
Tristan Lark-Alfred
Walter Lark-Alfred
Yale Lark-Alfred

After some searching, I think 3 syllable names work best, IMHO. Good luck finding your names.(:

Variations of Rand, Jude and Theodore:

Rand - Randy, Ross, Rodd, Rayner, Raynier, Rogan, Roger, Robert, Ralisten, and for some reason, this name made me think of Felix.....
Jude - Judah, Jody, Joshua, Jayden, Jasper, Jeremiah, Jeremy, Jackson, Judas, Justin, Jonathan, Jon
Theodore - Tyse, Titus, Thomas, Timothy

I think that these go best:

Wiley, Eller, Amos and Ross
Wiley, Eller, Amos and Roger
Wiley, Eller, Amos and Robert
Wiley Eller, Amos and Ralisten
Wiley, Eller, Amos and Jody
Wiley, Eller, Amos and Jasper
Wiley, Eller, Amos and Jon
Wiley, Eller, Amos and Titus
