I'm not a fan of unisex names so I'm kind of at lost here.

Cameron/Camryn. Which is the boy and which is the girl one? Or are they both acceptable on boys/girls?

I'm not big on unisex names either.

This is what I myself would say:

Cameron--either
Camryn--girl

The Y makes it seem more feminine.

However, I've never seen it spelt Camryn in real life. The two Camerons I know, one a little boy and one a little girl, both spell it Cameron, which I like much better.

I agree. I've only seen Cameron, I think Camryn isnt really a spelling its more a mispelling for the parents out there that feel Y's as vowels make their child more unique

(sorry to offend anyone...the y thing just annoys me.)

Some names seem fine with a Y, Cameron not so much in my opinion.

I don't like or dislike unisex names. If there's a name I don't like it's not for a reason like "That's unisex" its for the spelling or the pronounciation.

Anyways, I like Cameron for a boy or girl and Camryn for neither. Ugly spelling IMO. :)

I prefer Cameron on a boy and Camryn on a girl!
I have a friend and her name is Camryn! She goes by Cam and Camy!

Husband has a little cousin named Camryn - she goes by Cam. I think most every name where a "y" is interjected is a feminine version of a name. Cameron would be the masculine version but I personally would never use a unisex name for a son. Only MAYBE for a daughter. I want someone (teachers, etc) who is reading their name off of the roll sheet to know if they are looking for either a boy or a girl to be saying "Here!".

Cameron - boy (expect when considering Cameron Diaz :) )
Camryn - girl (even though I've never heard this name before)

I think Cameron for a boy...Camryn for a girl. Nathan's sister's name is Kamryn...although I like the spelling Camryn better. I agree that the 'y' makes any name more feminine.
