The name Remy for a girl has been growing on me. I'm not sure if I like it as a nn for Remember or Remembrance...Remembrance seems like toooooo long of a name ( I complain when I have to write out Katherine) and Remember I like but not sure if I'd go there for a first name or not. But Remy has been growing on me a lot....and I'm not afraid of the nn sounding first names (Edie is my #1 fav girl name right now).

But I need to find the PERFECT middle name to go with it. Above are the top three I've come up with.

Remy Matilda has a nice sound to it...i like Matilda and its somewhat after my mom (Milda). Do you think the Mmm sound is too over the top???

Remy Katherine sounds okay to me...not sure I want to use Katherine though, it would be after me but I dont really LOVE the name Katherine...which kinda sounds bad since it is MY name. :\

Remy Cordelia I like the way it sounds, and I do like the name Cordelia a lot. It has the same sort of style and feel as my other tops...Prynn Eloise & Edie Laurence. WDYT?

I'd appreciate any more ideas for middle names. I'd like something uncommon with sort of an old school feel, yet not unheard of. Nothing Tryndy, Unisex or with funky spellings.

Also WDYT of the first name Remember with nn Remy???? Is it TOOO much???

I like Remi/Remy, but only for a boy. I've always liked it as a nickname for Jeremy/Jeremiah. But I don't think I like it for a girl, sorry. I definitely don't like Remember or Remembrance as a name. And Remington is a boy name, always has been, so I could never see it on a little girl.

I like Remy for a girl, though I'm not a fan of Remember/Remembrance. They do seem "too much" and they don't really fit with Prynn Eloise and your other faves. I think you could get away with Romilly nn Remy since 3 of the four letters are there and it is shorter.

I love Matilda, Katherine and Cordelia by themselves, but I really think Cordelia goes the best with Remy.

Remy Matilda - The m sounds are a bit too close for my comfort, and since m is kind of a heavy letter in both names it sort of weighs the combo down.

Remy Katherine - I'm not sold on the sound, and 2x2 syllables. It's just an okay name.

Remy Cordelia - LOVE it. Cordelia brings and old timey flare to anything, as well as a lot of femininity. Unlike Katherine, which I see as a middle name all the time, Cordelia really sounds fantastic here.

Might as well just quote Mishada's post because I agree 100%.

Actually, I like Remembrance, but it's one of those names I'd never be able to pull off in real life.
{much like Hadassah or Hosannah}.

I adore Romilly, it's one of the names that jumped high on my list in a hearbeat. It's nowhere near the popularity chart, and I think it could blend very well with your kind of names.

Middle names -- Love Matilda, Katherine and Cordelia on their own.
I agree with Mishada's consideration, so my vote goes to Remy Cordelia or Romilly Cordelia, nickname Remy. [or Romy?]

Haha, I also ditto Mishada!

My ex boyfriend gave me the nick name Remy, not sure why he came up with that. Or why he felt needed a special nickname from him, but he still calls me Remy, and always introduces me as such :P I don't think my real name will ever be used in my life! :P

But Remy Cordelia is my fav of the choices! So gorgeous! I do love Remy Katherine, but that's only cause I'm personally fond of the name Katherine :)

I like the suggestion of Remy Celeste!

Maybe.....

I like Remember, but to me its one of those names you like but would never use. I think Ramona could be a replacement, but you might want to spell it differently, even though that's not ideal (I hate changing spellings too)
I like Remy Cordelia a lot.

I prefer Demi or Romy (row-me), but Remy's cute. Use it as a full first name. Nobody would bother to call her 'Remember' or 'Remembrance' could cause teasing.

As for middle names, Matilda is my fave of the names, but I think you're right about the 'm' thing, so Katherine would be my next choice. But Remy Cordelia would go well with your other names.
