I've been back and fourth on this for a little while now <3

I'm not much for unisex names.. and the unisex names I usually like are on boys (like Peyton, Chase, Riley etc I like all on boys).

But I am quite fond of Charley on a girl! :)

Though I also like Charlie on a boy.

I can't seem to find a perfect middle name for either. But I know I like Charlie Rylan or Charlie Finn for a boy, and Charley Elisabeth, Charley Isabel, or Charley Olivia on a girl.

I have thought of Charles and Charlotte, but I don't care for Charles very much. And Charlotte I only like as a middle name, whereas I'd like Charley as a first name.

I would greatly appreciate any input, as usual :) I just seem to be having a baby name blockage in my brain or something  Not sure whats up... maybe I'm coming down with something ;) Hehe! <3 But I really do appreciate any input-- no matter how little ;)

Thanks soooo much! <3

I only like the spelling Charlie, for either gender. But I prefer Charlie as a nn for Charlotte on girls. I think Charlotte works fine as a first name but I can understand your hang up. And though I like Charlie for boys I dislike Charles as well.

Charlie Anthony
Charlie David
Charlie Michael
Charlie Ray
I DO like Charles Wallace nn Charlie or even Charlie Wallace

Charlie Rose
Charlotte Rae nn Charlie
Charlie Delilah
Charlie Matilda

I prefer Charles for a boy and would just call him Charlie. I don't like it for girls as a name but as a nickname I think it's sweet. I like Carly over Charley. However I don't see how Logan and Elliott are now girls names either so what do I know? Use what makes you happy.

I'm unsure as to why, but I dislike Charles  I love love Charlie, but not so much Charles at all :L

I might not mind Charley as just a nick name... but the problem is, I just dont like Charlotte enough to use it as a first name. I have it in a lot of middle name slots... but again, I just don't like it as a middle name. It's funny, I have this great disliking for Carly, but Charlie is so close to Carly and I love Charlie. I have bad associations with the name Carly :)

Ohhh dear, I agree 110% on Logan and Elliot. I'm honestly not too much into unisex names. I like most of my girls names to be very feminine and sweet, such as my top three names being: Maeve Isabel/Isolde, Kate Sophia, and Genevieve Alana. And lately Anya as well <3 But for whatever reason Charley has a certain appeal to it <3 I am totally all for longer names that Charley could be a nick name for (BESIDES Charlotte!). But I have no idea, personally D:

I like it better on a GIRL!
I might be slightly, biast though since my baby God-Sister is Charli Rose.. :)

Charlie on a boy.. is really old-fashioned to me, & it also reminds me of Charlie Sheen. But on a girl, it seems new, unique and fresh.

Charley Isabel is gorgeous!
Charley Sophia would be lovely too.

Charleen is kinda nice, I'll think about it for a bit  Thanks Katie! Haha, it's more than I could think of myself! :P

Hehe, Charli Rose sounds cute, Ash! Mm, every time I think of a boy named Charlie I either think of Charlie Sheen or the little boy in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (the older version where the little boy isn't too cute.. the newer version does have a cute boy though!). It is kinda old fashioned, but I do like old fashioned names lol. Such as Maeve! :') Charlie and Maeve would make a darling sibling set, imo! Charley Isabel would be adorable if I wasn't already so set on Maeve Isabel! (or Maeve Isolde). Charley Sophia is sweet as well, except for Kate Sophia :L Ahh! Sorry if I'm being so picky!

But that could work, actually! I like Juniper Charlotte a lot, which I could use nn Charley for. Though I feel like I'd end up using June-Bug or Juno <3 Hmm, I can add more thought to this as well <3

Thanks Katie, Ash, and Meggie! :P

While I'm not crazy about the name Charlie/Charley, I like Charlie for a girl, and Charley for a boy.
