April Kennedy Howell [13] is one of June's younger sisters. She is the second oldest in the family, and has one younger sister. She gets along with most people, and is a huge advocate for swimming. She is quiet personality and is usually timid but in the water or during swim meets the shyness disappears and her competitive side shines. She is in the top ten percent of her class, and excells at the butterfly stroke.

Sage Olivia McAllister (13) is April's best friend. She is very artsy, girly and outgoing. She's not super bright like April, but has popularity and humor smarts. Sage is the kind of person that everyone gravitates toward, honest (sometimes brutally so), forgiving, funny, all-smiles all the time. Sage and April have been almost inseparable since they met in preschool.

Thomas Xavier McAllister [18] is one of Sage's older siblings, a brother. He plays varsity baseball, and his life revolves around baseball. He always has tournaments on the weekends and during the week its a game or practice. He barely sees his sister except at school, but even then he is caught up with friends and all. He is single, and currently does not have room for a girlfriend. He is excited for prom this year, and is afraid he might have to miss it because championships are the same day.

Tess Abigail Francesco {17} is the water girl for Thomas' baseball team. She is known for "getting with" all the guys on the team, even the coach, but she has yet to get with Thomas because he refuses, and that only makes her like him more. Though she does sleep around, on the inside she isn't happy with her lifestyle. She grew up middle class, but her parents are divorced and she has a lot of siblings so she doesn't get attention at home. She has a rough relationship with her dad, which is why she turns to guys.

Reese Adalyn Francesco [22] is the eldest sister of Tess. She has been dating the same guy since high school (unlike her younger sister), and hasn't let the family troubles get in the way of her success. She got a full ride scholarship to university in Oregon and is working on a masters degree in the career field of architect.  she is distant from the family because she doesn't want to end up like her parents, having kids in high school and not finishing college and having debt. she moved out as soon as she could, and just wishes the best for her siblings.

Finn Abel Francesco [16] is the younger half-brother of Reese and Tess. He's their half-brother from their father's side of the family. Finn's mother is the second wife of the children's father, but Finn was born out of wedlock and from the affair that caused his elder half-sisters' parents divorce. Finn doesn't like much of what goes down in his home and feels mighty guilty about breaking up his elder sisters' parents marriage. Finn's got the closest relationship to Reese and he avoids Tess like the plague at school. In fact, for the past two years Finn has been living with Reese as there aren't enough rooms at home for him and he doesn't feel comfortable at home anymore. Seeing as he's got one other older half-sibling from his dad's first marriage, and then he's got seven younger siblings ranging from ages 14-newborn from his parents. Finn's hoping to attend University of Oregon like Reese and works really hard in school to get good grades so he may also earn a scholarship. Finn not only looks up to Reese, but her boyfriend who he's known since he was nine years of age and who Finn sees more as a father figure then his own father.

Thalia Casey Wills (16) is Finn's girlfriend. She grew up in a normal family with normal income, and she serves as Finn's shoulder to cry on. Thalia loves Finn a lot. They met when she cheered for the cheer squad (one of the only freshmen at the time) and he was on the football team. Thalia is a bubbly, popular girl, but she has her quirks.

Darcy Elizabeth Mayer (16) is a good friend of Thalia's. They are both joined the cheer squad freshman year, and have been good friends ever since. Darcy is popular and bubbly like Thalia. She is the vice president of the student council, and hopes to be elected president next year when she's a senior. She hopes to study international relations in college and become an ambassador.

Aislinn Isabella Mayer (10) is Darcy's only sibling. They are very close, but Aislinn is nothing like her sister. She is shy and often eats by herself. Aislinn is always lost in her own little world, one she's created in her minds with fantastical elements and talking tigers and people who understand her. Aislinn is teased regularly for her above-average intelligence and for being the first one the teacher calls on every time. Aislinn sometimes wishes she could be more like Darcy, but she likes her little world.

Kyler Birch Duron-Collins [12] takes particular interest in Ainslinn. She is in his advanced math class, and it really interests him how a person can be so distraught and happy with sitting by themselves. He has been partnered up with her a couple times and has exchanged a few words before she daydreams in her world again. He loves to see her smile, and his friends tease him for hangin out with the weird girl. He has half siblings and divorced parents, but both parents remarried.

Caden Oliver Lynch (12) is the popular guy in the grade and one of the jocks. He plays basketball and football for the school and is captain of both teams. He has a popular girlfriend and every girl (save for Aislinn) has a crush on him. Caden loves hanging by the benches, a popular hangout for the middle school kids. The eighth graders have taken a liking to him and let him hang out with them, but they have a bad influence on him.

Morgan Amelia Austen [12] is Caden's girlfriend. She is very popular at school, but has had a very sheltered childhood. Her parents are beginning to worry that Caden and some of his older friends are a bad influence on her. Her mother particularly wishes that the two of them would break up. Morgan is the oldest in her family and has two younger sisters.

Hadley Olivia and Brynn Eliza Austen (8) are Morgan's twin little sisters. They love playing pretend together and are best friends. Hadley is more confident while Brynn is more shy. Hadley is very protective of her sister. She's two minutes older, but it seems more like two years when you meet them. Brynn is extremely bright, though, and her teacher has noticed this and offered to bump her up to fourth grade. Brynn is torn, but she knows her parents will make the right decision.

Miley Annette Bryson (29) is the teacher of Hadley and Brynn . She is married and haa beares no children but has adopted two little ones. She really see how ahead amd bores Hadley ia during claas and would lpve to move her up while Brynn is a bit behind.

Marcus Jemal Bryson [32] is the husband of Miley. He loves kids, and is really excited to have recently adopted two children. He and Miley both love to be outdoors and they often take their kids to the park on weekends.  Marcus works as a loan officer at a local bank.

Juliette Hope Bryson [1] is the youngest adopted daughter of Marcus and Miley. She is a little sweetheart, who talks alot. She likes have elongated conversations of babbling and sometimes she has intellectual discussions but only she understands herself because she clearely cannot dictate words yet. She has an older brother who was also adopted, whom she loves dearly and is always hugging him.

Tanner Jack Bryson (4) is Juliette's older brother. He looks more like Miley but feels a closer connection to his dad. He loves throwing the football around in the backyard and playing with his little sister "JuJu." He is a bright, happy kid.

Cassandra Miriam Gregory [8] is the cousin of Tanner, and Juliette and the niece of Miley and Marcu s via Miley's older brother. Cassandra loves visiting Her aunt and uncle and gets along well with Juliette and Tanner. She loves playing hide and seek with Juliette, and mini football with tanner. She has one older, and one younger sibling.

Margaret Rose Warren (8) is Cassandra's best friend. They've been inseparable since they met five years ago in preschool. Cassandra is the more dominant personality, as Margaret is shy and quiet, but extremely bright and funny nice you get to know her. Margaret's family owns acres of land. She has her own greenhouse full of roses on the property, called "Margaret Rose." She and Cassandra love running around on the extensive fields. Margaret has a huge family, but there is always enough room for all of them.
