Basic Plot: Jillian believes she is cursed. Her life has been filled with bad luck and one misfortune after another for the last seven years. And when her boss' son, Thomas, is cursed, he enlists (blackmails) Jillian into helping him find out how to break it and who did it. All because he saw her the night he was cursed! Now, Jillian is forced to help a guy that she can't stand, being dragged through a world she never knew existed and constantly running into trouble because of her streak of bad luck!
Jillian Romney: She is cynical, sharp-tongued, pessimistic, practical, no-nonsense, astute, and jaded. She comes across mean, apathetic and snarky but is generally a quiet and insecure girl.
Thomas Carroll: He is sociable, mischievous, fun-loving, easy-going, quick-witted, articulate, adventurous and a playboy. Despite his hedonistic and devil-may-care approach, he is very good with money and business. He has an arrogant and selfish streak.
Beau Hart: Outwardly, he is charismatic, cheerful, pleasant, laidback and outgoing. However, he is devious, conniving, smooth-talking, unstable, ill-tempered, a good liar/actor and quick on his feet. He hates when he loses or things don't go his way. Comes from a line of magic and uses it for twisted ways and self gain. He is the cause for the main girl's bad luck.
