Been thinking about Rory lately, just thought we could discuss it. Do you prefer it on a boy or a girl? Does it grow well? What combo would you put it in if you used it? Would you use it?

Personally, I love it for boys. I could see it on any age. In my opinion, it could perfectly suit a businessman in his 40's, it could totally professional. And it's adorable on a little boy, and sweet for an old man. Rory Benjamin Fox was on my list for the longest time and I still love it. Though now I'd probably use it as a middle name; Samuel Seven Rory, maybe?

I don't think that I would ever name my child Rory, but if I ever did I think that I would use it as a nickname for a girl and spell it Rori.

I think that it could be a cute nickname for Victoria or Aroura, but neither of those names are really my style.

I think that it is nice enough on a boy. It's the kind of name that's not terrible. I wouldn't mind seeing it on someone else's kid, but I personally can't see aging really well.

I can personally only see Rory, on a male, on a little boy and an old man. But, if you want to use it, I think that it's nice enough.

It is cute and it could age well I think. I would prefer finding a longer name that it could be a nn for but it works on its own just fine as a middle. I would prefer it on a girl probably. I love your Rory Benjamin Fox combo!

I don't know that I would ever use it on its own, but I adore Roran and would maybe use it as a nickname.

I would definitely use it on a boy. I think Rory Benjamin Fox is quite handsome

I would definitely pair it with a longer, classic, solidly masculine name to pair with it, like you did with Benjamin.

Im not sure I could see it on a middle aged person but definitely love it otherwise!

I prefer it as a nickname but also think it works fine on its own. Great on both boys and girls, my personal preference is on a girl though. Nn for Lorelei, Rosemary, Victoria, Eleanor, Aurora, Primrose, Veronica, Rosalie, Lenore, Rosalind, Corinne ... essentially any name that has an OR or RO in it IMO.

I love Rory, mostly because of the Doctor Who character (whom I loved). I vastly prefer it on a boy, especially as a full name, but I don't mind it as a nickname for a girl. I'd think a Rory would be a bit shy and quiet, caring, sensible, and sensitive to others, but he'd also enjoy being around family and friends, and like to have fun. Since anyone of any age can have that sort of personality, I can definitely see a Rory of all ages.

I have Rory Julian Hamish, and Rory Alexander Hamish on my list. I slightly prefer the latter, but I'm not entirely happy with the popularity of Rory Alexander (although with a second middle that shouldn't matter as much). I love your Rory Benjamin Fox combo. It flows really well, and I think Benjamin Fox works brilliantly with Rory (especially Benjamin).

As a first name I prefer Rory on a boy. Due to Gilmore Girls I like Rory on a girl ONLY as a nickname.
