I have been loving Martha lately and might use it as a middle, but would not mind it as a first. I actually like Marta, the Scandinavia version, a little better :), but not sure I could use it. Still, I just recently thought... what about first name Martha with nn Ari???
I love the nn Ari, but haven't had a name to use it before on my list. What do you think about the nn? Does it work?
Comments welcome!
Thanks <3

I think it works. What might feel off is that nicknames are usually shorter than the actual name they are for. But not always! (i.e Grace nn Gracie or Noelle nn Ellie)

I think both Martha (one of the main character's mother's from Castle. Makes it feel a lot more usable) and Marta are adorable. Though I would personally use them in the middle spot, it's all about personal style. To each their own. Ari is quite spunky and modern so it's always a nice alternative to have. You might also like Mara, Marnie, Margot or Maura. All a similar sound but probably a little less old fashioned.

I love Martha and Marta, but Marta is my favorite. :)

Ari could definitely work, but it isn't very intuitive.
