I'm in a bit of a dilemma. Last night, I was talking with my husband about names. He keeps suggesting that we flip a coin to decide our baby girl's name. Or something along those lines. The two names are Sophia and Claire. He doesn't care for Sophia and I don't care for Claire. I know if she was Claire, I would never call her Claire and I James already told me he would call her Clairebear. I think it is unfair to both of us. And we can't seem to come to a good middle ground.

Should we ditch the names all together and find new names? Or should we try and make it work?

* Summer is an option on the table as well. But, I don't like how Summer Claire sounds. Its runs together IMO.

I suggest choosing new names all together. Find something you can both agree on. Maybe ones that sound similar?

Sophie
Clara

Just keep both names until the baby is born. I've heard SO many people say "We had the name X picked out but when she was born, she didn't look like an X so we named her Y".

I would wait until she was born until you choose for sure.
