Expecting our first child in November and I am 14 weeks along in 2 days. I just have been mulling over some of my favorite names in my head and wanted some feedback. Since I am not far enough along to find out gender yet these are both boy and girl names so far. I seem to have a preference for old fashioned or unique names. Please let me know if any of these stick out to you. The last name will be Hay.

  • Minerva ??
  • Tommen James
  • Alyson James
  • Alyss ??
  • Charles Watson
  • Winifred (Winnie/Freddy) Parker
  • Wesley/Weston (Wes)
  • Oliver Kent

  • Minerva ?? - I am not a huge fan of Minerva (me and my sisters used to say "You're getting on Minerva!")
  • Tommen James - I have never come across the name Tommen so it is very unique! It has a nice sound to it.
  • Alyson James - I like James in the middle name spot for a girl. It goes nicely with Alyson.
  • Alyss ?? - Pronounced Alice?  If so I much prefer the traditional spelling.
  • Charles Watson - I adore the combo Charles Wallace (from the Wrinkle in Time series). Charles Watson also as a nice ring to it.
  • Winifred (Winnie/Freddy) Parker - I adore Winifred nn Winnie/Freddy (or just Wyn)! Parker is nice and spunky in the middle name spot for a girl.
  • Wesley/Weston (Wes) - Wes is another one of my favorites :) I think I prefer Wesley for the full name.
  • Oliver Kent - great combo

I think you have a great start!
