What are your thoughts on the names Darwin or Thatcher for a boy? I was watching Friends and got it from Ross when he and Rachel were coming up with names for their baby.
They just seemed that with the right combo, either could be really handsome! WDYT?

I looooooove the name Thatcher <3 Darwin I really don't like.... It will always have the association of Evolution and to me just sounds round. Now if your an evolutionist and want to name your son for Chuck

I think Darwin is super cute 
and Thatcher is nice as well. Both are great surnames for first names (or middle names ) options.

I like Thatcher... it seems strong and intelligent. Darwin is okay too, but I agree with Jay... it's a bit too "scientific" sounding for my taste! Still, I agree that with the right combos, both names could sound really nice.

I don't think either name is out there, actually! I love Darwin, but can't imagine actually using it. For one, I can just see my mother flipping a lid at me. And I don't love it quite enough to deal with the issues my family would have with their "sounds too Charles Darwin-like and we're christians so this is so offensive blah blah blah" deal :l Well, they're christians. And they believe in creationism. I don't want to talk about my opinions on that, but either way I love Darwin and don't associate it with Charles. I'm rambling haha. Anyways, I do like! I'd love to see a little boy named Darwin<3
Thatcher is cute!! I wouldn't use it myself, but I can picture it on another person. Its a fine name, aging well and no teasing potential I can think of. If you like it, use it!
