My husband and I already have Ethan Edward (7) and Dominic Daniel (2). We are expecting a 3rd boy in May 2017.

We like Jensen for the first name but are torn between Jensen Dean and Jensen John. Dean is my dad's middle name and John is his late father's first name. We also like John because it goes with our unintentional theme of the same first and middle initial.

Which do you all like best? I am open to other suggestions as well. Thanks!!!!

Jens is the Danish form of John (Jensen being son of John) so technically you can still used this name to honor hubby's dad and use a different J middle name. Jensen John being little bit too much for me..

Dean is derived from Middle English dene meaning valley. Jordan means descend or to flow down. Far fetched but a it is a small connection. Does Jordan Jensen maybe appeal to y'all? If not go with Jensen Dean, that way you still honor both of baby boy's grandfathers. 👍

I love Jensen John!

If you want to keep with the "theme:"

Jensen James

Jensen Josiah

Jensen Jonah

Jensen Jefferey

Jensen Joseph

If not:

Jensen Adam

Jensen Elijah

Jensen Alexander

Jensen Avery

Jensen Matthew

Jensen Nicolas

Jensen Everett

Jensen Samuel

Good Luck! <3

While there is no need to follow your theme, I like it when there is a theme that isn't obvious to everyone, but those close do know it. Does that make sense at all? I think both of your combos work, but I would suggest Jensen James. I agree that Jensen is a creative way to honor John.
