I'm trying to find soft, elegant, classic and under-used names. I am looking for names that just flow off the tongue and sound pleasant to the ears - ie no harsh sounds. I am looking for names that are ageless.

Here are a few examples of what I think of when I hear soft - Emmeline, Evangeline, Genevieve, Shae, Charlotte, Helene and Noelle.

What soft sounding names come to your mind and what are your favorites?

Sorry if this sounds mumbled and sloppy - it appears my mind is not flowing well today!
Thanks!

I think I know what you mean. I like a lot of those you listed. Here are a few that come to mind (at least how I percieve as "soft" I guess).

Nora
Evelyn
Molly
Emma
Hannah
Pearl
Elise
Anna
Julia
Lia/Leah
Jillian

Are you only looking for girl names?

I am open to boy names too, but I was particularly looking for girls names - not that I know the sex!
I like Nora, Evelyn, Elise and Hannah too.
I also have found that I like Elora, Giselle, Eve, Amelie, Lena, Elena, Natalie and Gemma.

I like Summer because it seems warm and soft, but I don't think it fits the uncommon or ageless section of my requirement!

Soft names for boys I can't think of many myself but I like Evan and Levi. I think Owen is soft but I'm not fond of the name.

Thought of two more "soft" boys' names:
Asa
Joshua

How about Josephine or Noemi?

Serephina (Serefina?)
Sophia
Eliana
Julietta (if you say it the French way with the zh sound at the start)
Rafiela
Lilith

I'm not sure whether I hit the 'soft' requirement. lol
