Hi! My husband and I never share our baby's name until the big day but I'm really torn on our baby girl's middle name this time around so I need some anonymous help please! We are already set on Felicity for the first name and I think have narrowed down the middle name to either Holland or Emeline. I love Holland and my husband agreed on it for a middle but now I'm double guessing that it doesn't flow with the style of our first name...? Too modern for Felicity? Emeline is an old family name that we discovered in my husband's family tree. We do typically use a family name for the middle but I also have a cousin named Emily who I don't want assuming that we named the baby after her and I don't want the name to really sound like Emily either... So I'm torn and would love some neutral opinions! Our last name is 4 syllables long. Thank you!!

I think Felicity Holland sounds better - it has a nicer flow in my opinion. However, I personally prefer Emeline.

I prefer Felicity Emeline. I wouldn't worry about your cousin. My dad has a sister named Linda and a brother whose middle name is Philip. My sister and brother's names happen to be Lindsay and Philip. They weren't named after their aunt and uncle, nor does anybody ask.

I don't know if you're looking for other ideas, but what about Felicity Helen? I think it works well flow-wise, stylistically, and with your long last name.

I think Felicity Holland flows better.  Felicity and Emeline are very similar style wise, I think Holland adds some spice.
