Marie Erin Waylon {2} is a daughter of Chad Dryden, half brother of Parker. Kelly-Ann Giles babysits her three times a week; Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. The only two people who know who Marie's father is are her mother and Chad. Chad, like with all of his other kids, has taken no responsibility in taking care of her, and Marie's mother is ashamed so she doesn't tell anyone who the father is. She's even been known to tell people that Marie was not an accident, and that her father is a sperm donor.

Sarah Violet Waylon (6) is Marie's older half-sister. Sarah is the product of a one-night stand and has no affiliation with Chad, though her mother and Chad's split had a lot to do with the fact that Sarah's mother never told Chad that she existed. Then three or four, Sarah had no idea what was going on, all she knew is that she had a baby sister. Sarah loves attention -- her first grade teacher is a photographer on the side and has asked her mother to take pictures of Sarah. She loves getting her picture taken. Sarah also likes to spin fantastical stories about fairy-tale lands. Her imagination often causes her to get distracted, but she is very bright and always gets good marks on quizzes and homework.

Mai Lee Ngo [34] is the teacher of Sarah, and professional photographer as a side job. She has four children (ages, 15,9,5,2). Mai and her family migrated from Vietnam when she was four years old. This shift and moving unsettled her, especially in middle school when she was bullied for being asian. She was a dork in high school and started hanging with the wrong crowd. Her first pregnancy was unexpected, and she had made bad choices all throughout high school and early college years. Her boyfriend at the time, stuck by her side through the whole pregnancy, and was there for her the whole time. Raising her first child, changed her and her boyfriend deeply. The course of their lives turned around. Mai got a teaching degree, and her husband pursued a forensic science degree. She got married to her boyfriend, at age 23. Mai now happily has been teaching for ten years.

Lily Dao O'Connell (5) is Mai's daughter. Lily's daddy is Irish-American. Lily is sassy and bossy and is wrapped around her daddy's finger. She loves doodling and even did so on the walls once! Lily likes looking "different" from the other kids in her class. Her family lives in a part of town that has a very low population of minorities. Her older siblings sometimes get self-conscious, but not Lily. She is begging her mommy for dance lessons because her best friend (who is black, they first bonded because other kids thought they were weird) is taking them.

Wren Vinh O'Connel [2] is the younger brother of Lily, and two other siblings (ages 9, 15). His mother is Mai, a school teacher. Wren is a very happy kid, always caught smiling. He is friendly, and loves telling and listening to stories. He loves making people laugh by dancing or making silly faces. He loves all his siblings dearly.

Kira Chi O'Connell (15) is the older sister of Wren, Lily, and a nine-year-old brother and daughter of Mai. Kira loves fashion. She's always got the latest trends and brands and she sketches designs in a super-secret "you can't touch this" notebook. She is very close to her dad and loves the idea of forensic science. Kira doesn't really like Lily that much, she finds her annoying and self-centered. She loves Wren because he's so adorable.

Sage Minh O'Connel [9] is the younger brother of Kira, and older brother of Lily and Wren. He loves music. He plays the violin, and piano and is begging his mom to let him learn how to play the ukelele. He does well in school and thrives in his youth orchestra ensemble. Besides music, he enjoys playing with his brother and teaching him to play piano. He looks up to his dad the most though.

Ian Christopher O'Connell (35) is the husband of Mai, father of Kira, Sage, Lily, and Wren. Ian fell in love with Mai a long time ago and nothing has changed that. He loves her quirky sense of humor and pretty smile. Ian works as a coroner and has for a while now. He always makes time for his family, though, and shares a strong bond with each of his kids, especially Lily and Sage, though he'd never say that. His friends picked on him in high school for dating an Asian girl, but he didn't care what anyone said about their relationship.

Cleo Margaret O'Connel [28] is the little sister of Ian, sister in law of Mai, and aunt of Kira, Sage, Lily, and Wren. Cleo is a coworker with Mai and is also a teacher, more specifically a fifth grade teacher. She got married 4 years ago and has one little boy who also inherited her one of a kind hair color and curls. She met her husband in psychology class in college. Cleo is the only one is the family with her original red irish llocks, and freckles. Her grandparents on her fathers side were the ones with red hair, but none of her parents were red heads. She got teased throughout school, but she swore to herself to never dye her hair. Cleo is a strict teacher despite her young age, but is fun with the kids. Cleo and her husband are really excited because they just found out Cleo is expecting another baby.

Waylon Conner Gallagher [3] is the son of Cleo O'Connel and her husband, Mr. Gallagher, He is the nephew of  of Ian O'Connel and Mai Ngo, as well as his mother's three other siblings and his father's two siblings, He is the cousin of Kira, Sage, Lily, and Wren O'Connel, and others as well. Waylon is a very happy kid and gets along well with all the kids in his pre-k class. It isn't as in fashion to make fun of red haired kids anymore and so Waylon doesn't face the issues his mother had. Therefore, Waylon is mostly a happy and bright kid, especially with his mother always showing and teaching him things. Waylon's father is a psychologist which is how he met his mother in college, through psych classes. Currently, Waylon is very excited to become a big brother and he doesn't care if he gets a little brother or a little sister.

Kenan Raphael Gabo Holder and Soraya Bijou Amoret Holder {3} are twins, both of whom are in Waylon's class at school. Soraya and Waylon are best friends, they always play together at recess and sit next to each other at story time. Soraya is very friendly, she loves to talk and enjoys school. Kenan is on the quieter side, and he prefers to stay home with his mom while she works from home, or go to the office with his dad instead of going to school. The twins' mom and dad are a very rich power couple, but lately they have been fighting and their mom cheated on their dad. They don't have any idea what is going on with their parents, but they know something isn't right. They spend a lot of time with their nanny.

Milada Persephone Esme Holder (5) is the older sister of Soraya and Kenan. Milada is like her sister--she is friendly and outgoing, but she also has a crazy personality and a mature sense of style. Milada has lots of friends and loves to play four square with them and also with her three older siblings, all of whom are at least three years older than her. Milada fits in with older kids well because of her sense of humor and advanced intelligence. She is aware that her parents are fighting, she tried to console her mother after she broke down crying in her bed and she hugged her daddy for a really long time after that. Her oldest sibling, a girl, is ver affected by it.

Ramsey Llewelyn Cato Holder {9} is the older brother of Milada, Kenan, and Soraya. He has two older siblings, both sisters. One sister is at least two years older than him, and the other sister is at least two years older than that sister. Ramsey loves sports, he is nearly always at swim meets or basketball games. He really wants to play football, but is afraid to ask his parents to add something else to his schedule when they are already so stressed. He knows a lot of what is going on between his parents, more than he should know. He's heard some of the things that they have said to each other, and it makes him sad. On the outside, he is angry at them for it and often acts out. But, deep inside, he is really hurt and upset by what is going on. He really wishes he had someone he could talk to. The only child in the family to take it worse than him is his oldest sister.

Avalon Maia sigrid Holder [11] is the older sister of Ramsey, Soraya, Kenan, and Milada. Avalon is aware of her parent's fighting but has become stronger and better at blocking it out. She has always seen her parents at her spelling bee contests, and her softball games but lately none of them showed. She has taken this emptiness, and pushed it aside. She has moved on and doesn't let it affect her. She takes care of her younger siblings, and her school work. She has one other older sister who is at least two years older, who has been greatly affected by what is going on with their parents.

Azula Philomena Rhubarb "Tiger" Holder {17} is the older sister of Avalon, Ramsey, Milada, Kenan, and Soraya. She hates that her parents are fighting, and has distanced herself from them. She has made a habit of running away and crashing with friends for a week or so at a time. Her dad especially has been hard on her, and she's constantly searching for ways to act out. She decided to go by Tiger to spite them, as well as join the punk crowd and dye her hair. She's even slept with her dad's business partner, and it made her parents furious. She had a boyfriend, but when he found out about the hookup, he broke up with her. She's in a really emotional, hurting state, and she wants her parents to be miserable, too. Unfortunatly, she's wound up hurting her siblings in the process, too. A lot of the reason that her parents haven't been at her siblings events is because they are tied up in the mess Tiger has made.

Shane Carter Axel (17) used to be Tiger's boyfriend. He is a little punk-hipster himself, but he thinks Tiger has taken it way too far. He occasionally goes by "Ax," knowing that his mom doesn't like it, because he blames her for his father leaving him, his mom, and his little sister. He is very overprotective of his sister, who is eleven and friends with Avalon Holder. He doesn't want her to be affaires by the horrors in this world.

Maebry Lydia Axel {11} is the younger sister of Shane Axel, friend of Avalon Holder. She is really glad her brother stopped dating Tiger, she knows she is only trouble for Shane. Maebry is old enough to be very hurt by her parents splitting up, but she isn't really sure why it happened. She loves to play soccer, and Shane never misses one of her games, though lately her parents haven't been there. She also likes to model for fun, but isn't girly, self-absorbed, or high-maintenance like the model stereotypes.

Maxwell "Max" Archer Kinkade [13] is very popular guy at school, the same school as Maebry which happens to be a k-12 school. He has taken a particular interest in Maebry, and has encouraged her to become a cheerleader at the middle school level so she could cheer him on in his flag football games. He has "dated" many girls by now, and every guy want to be him, and every girl would love to have him flash them a smile. In reality, at home he is an only child, who barely gets any attention from his parents who over work and are never home. He usually spends time alone.

Ruby-Madison Elspeth Parlor {10} is the cousin of Max Kinkade, next door neighbor and friend of Maebry Axel. She has never gone by just Ruby or just Madison, she's always been Ruby-Madison. She has five siblings, all of which also have double first names that they always go by. Ruby-Madison loves to dance, especially jazz. She also loves to play her flute and spends quite a lot of time practicing.

Logan-Quinn Lachlan Parlor [17] is the eldest sibling of Ruby-Madison Parlor, he also has four other younger siblings aged 15-11, two of them are twins. They all have double names and go by their full names all the time, their middle names are all Scottish. He's the cousin of Max Kinkade, but he thinks the kid is kind of a jerk. Logan-Quinn is very protective of his younger siblings and cares for them deeply. They mean a lot to him and he's always there for them, taking them to events or reading them stories when they were younger. Their parents though very loving are not around as much because of their demanding careers. Logan-Quinn used to be close to Shane Axel, but they fooled around once and it got awkward after that so they do not talk much. Logan-Quinn himself identifies as gay and is out and proud, he's currently daring a guy he very much loves and they've been dating for five months. Before that he'd been closeted and had dated a girl in attempt to be straight, he just could not do it and cried, coming out to her after they had intercourse for the first time. Since then, Logan-Quinn has been a lot happier. However, that one time landed him a spot of trouble as his ex-girlfriend/beard got pregnant. He is currently the father of THREE babies, as his ex ended up having natural triplets, Logan-Quinn loves his kids and he helps to financially support them and comes around when he can despite how awkward it is at times with his ex-girlfriend/beard.
