Hi! I need help! We are having a baby girl in early November and we can't decide on a name. So far I like Elyse (or Elise) Caroline. Our other choices were Ashlynn, Aislynn, and Shea. My son's name is Sean Michael. Suggestions? Preferences for spelling? I'm not sure about the "y" but I kind of like that it is slightly different. Thanks for the help!

Help! I am due in 14 weeks and we've yet to settle on a name. I need one soon to finish nursery. We are having a little girl and our last name is somewhat difficult and starts with an R (2 syllables). We like Caroline, Elyse (or Elise), Aislynn (pronouncing Ayz len), Shea, and Ashlynn. Any thoughts on these or combining these? I was thinking Elyse Caroline but I'm just not sure. HELP!

I like Elyse. However, I STRONGLY recommend that you spell it E-L-I-S-E instead Caroline is beautiful too! If you are open to suggestions, I say: Carolina Elise, Elise Carolina, Caroline Elise, or Elise Caroline. You could also use Elizabeth as the first name and call her Elise as a nickname I am so in love with the latter name!

I think that Shea would be too close to Sean, so I'd avoid that choice. I think Ashlyn is very pretty, and Aislynn isn't bad.
My favorite would be Elise Caroline <3 Elyse just confuses the pronunciation in my opinion. Caroline is a very darling middle name

Elise Caroline and if you wanted to give her a Nick name you could still use Ellie

I really love Ashlynn but I think it's overused right now so I vote Elise Caroline. I think Elyse is the original spelling (Elysian fields?) and Elise is a newer creation. Shea is lovely but to too close to Sean. In numerology (without knowing the whole name) the y would make your little girl more spiritually movitvated and the i would make her someone who finishes what she starts. If you put any credence into such things!!! If you choose Ashlynn I will second the suggestion of Ashlynn Elise!
