I have it as a GP. I wouldn't use it as first name but as a middle name it's definitely useable.

I adore the name Salem, but the obvious link with the witch trials and also with the cat from Sabrina the Teenage Witch means I have it only as a GP for now.

I like the witchy feeling of it. I've always been fond of it. I just didn't want it to be too out there. Any ideas for middles? All I have right now is Salem Rose. I also just woke up and haven't had any coffee yet lol

Salem is lovely. I absolutely love it. I would say Salem Blaire but too many connotations with that, lol! Unless you just really adore it!

I always think of the witch trials when I hear Salem and then I think of Sabrina. I don't think it would be bad as a name, though I would use it for a boy.

I love Salem for a boy or a girl, though my preference is boy. I think it is a fantastic name! Personally, I'm fond of the Biblical associations.

I'm still shocked Nick actually likes it though he prefers it as a middle and I would rather it be a first. I can deal. I just can't find anything for a first name yet that sticks.
I'm torn between Willow Salem and Briar Salem.
