I was assigned to write a story in my AP Language Arts class, and I was wondering if I can get some feedback on the names of my characters (they're babies but don't have lastnames). I have four boy and three girl characters. They are:
Zarko Roderick
Hugo Wolfgang
Hollis Winston
Noland Tallon
Vada Avalon
Sibella Rene
Rayna Esmeralda
Emma Sage/ Emma Aurore

Zarko Roderick- The flow is a bit off and looks a little clunky but not awful. So a 5

Zarko- Makes me think of the character from Avatar my brother watches, Zuko. So a 3

Roderick- A rather 70's/80's name but nice all the same. So a 7
------------------------------

Hugo Wolfgang- A the G's throw me off a little but not awful. So a 6

Hugo- Not one of my favorites, it never flowed well to me. So a 3. ( Sorry :( )

Wolfgang- Makes me think of Wolfgang Puck but not all bad. So a 6
-------------------------------

Hollis Winston- Sounds more like a first and last name combo. So a 6

Hollis- Sounds like it could be vintage or modern but not a personal favorite. So a 7

Winston- Sounds like a very southern and vintage surname choice. So a 6
--------------------------------

Noland Tallon- Seems very "kre8tive" and repetitive in the lettering. So a 4

Noland- Seems like Roland but with an N, not a huge fan. So a 5

Tallon- Seems like Talon with an extra L, not a fan. So a 4
---------------------------------

Vada Avalon- The V's and A's are a bit repetitive and it trips me up. So a 3

Vada- Sounds like someone with a thick accent or lisp saying "Water" to me. So a 3

Avalon- Not a fan, more of a word than a name to me. So a 4
----------------------------------

Sibella Rene- Has a nice sound but looks a little clunky. So a 7

Sibella- The classic Sybil would be a better alternative. So a 5

Rene- The classical Renee would be a better spelling. So a 6
------------------------------------

Rayna Esmeralda- A bit repetitive in the sound and it rhymes. So a 5

Rayna- Sounds like someone trying to further trend Rayne, not a fan. So a 5

Esmeralda- Reminds me of one of my favorite Disney movies. So a 6
-------------------------------------

Emma Sage/Aurore- Emma Sage has better sound of the two combos. So a 7

Emma- Classical and sweet, but a little short but still nice, so an 8

Sage- An herb based name. Technically a nature name but not a huge favorite. So a 5

Aurore- Prefer Aurora but not awful or anything. So a 6
--------------------------------

Hope you liked my ratings! I try to be as honest as possible without being mean or rude. I mean no offence what so ever, as I know everyone has different styles and opinions

My ever so adventurous friend shared with me her top four picks for future kiddos and she's ten times braver than I would ever be.

Siren Sparrow (g)
Eris Nicole
Acheron Alexander
Lucian

Siren Sparrow- Sounds like it belongs in a movie or fantasy book (or even as a species) rather than a child. So a 2

Siren- Reminds me of the mythical creature and of the noise makers, so a word. Not a fan. So a 2

Sparrow- A type of bird, and I could see it on a boy rather than a girl. So a 3
------------------------

Eris Nicole- Has a nice sound but seems very childish. So a 3

Eris- The Greek Goddess of Chaos and Discord, not a good connotation. Seems like someone would use it as a trendier version of Erin. So a 2

Nicole- A cute name, but a little to popular for me, though still very nice. So an 8.
--------------------------

Acheron Alexander- The repetitive letters and length make it clunky. So a 3

Acheron- Is this supposed to be Archeron? Either way not a fan. So a 2

Alexander- A very very regal and empirical name, great for a boy, Love the nicknames Alec and Alex. So a 9
---------------------------

Lucian- A nice historical name with a handsome ring to it. So an 8
----------------------------

Hope you liked my ratings! I try to be as honest as possible without being mean or rude. I mean no offence what so ever, as I know everyone has different styles and opinions.

Come up with a few new names for my list but haven't to combos yet

Aspen
Nahla
Amalia
Bella
Lilly or Lillie
Aylin or Ayla

Aspen- A more modern nature name, sweet, but I couldn't see it on an adult. So a 6
------------------

Nahla- Prefer Nala, less clunky to me personally and reminds me of The Lion King. So a 6
------------------

Amalia- Prefer Amelia but Amalia has a nice sound to it as well. So a 7
------------------

Bella- More of a nickname, prefer Isabella, Arabella or even Annabella over just Bella, to Twilighty for me. So a 5
-----------------

Lilly or Lillie- Prefer Lily over all but of the two Lilly looks the least misspelled and classic. So a 6
-------------------

Aylin or Ayla- Ayla has a better, more classical feel and sound to it of the two. So a 6
--------------------

Hope you liked my ratings! I try to be as honest as possible without being mean or rude. I mean no offence what so ever, as I know everyone has different styles and opinions.

I'll just say my top 3 name combos for each gender at the moment.

Scarlett Amelia
Rosalie Lenora
Delilah Celeste

Emerson Joseph
Everett Cruz
Brighton Gabriel

Scarlett Amelia- Amelia Scarlett would be pretty as well. So an 8

Scarlett- I love certain color names, this one in particular. Has a good ring and flow is paired correctly. So an 8.

Amelia- Has good flow and is very classical. I like Amy and Lia as nicknames for it. So an 8.
----------------------------

Rosalie Lenora- A little bit halting but the roght surname could round it out well. So a 7

Rosalie- I love nature like names and this one is very nice. So a 9.

Lenora-Vintage but not one of my personal favorites but I like the nickname Lena. So an 7.
----------------------------

Delilah Celeste- A bit halting but the right surname might round it out nicely. So a 7

Delilah- A beautiful name and has a great antique feel. So an 8

Celeste- A nice, vintage name for a girl. Strong but girly. So a 7
----------------------------

Emerson Joseph- Joseph Emerson would be handsome as well. So a 7

Emerson- Becoming a unisex name, but I see it more as a boys name. So a 7

Joseph- A biblical name, not exactly one of my favorites, but with a good feel to it. So a 7.
------------------------------

Everett Cruz- Has a nice mix of style and sound. So a 7

Everett- A nice name but not exactly a favorite of mine. So a 7

Cruz- Makes me think of speed and an actor but not too awful. So a 6
------------------------------

Brighton Gabriel- Has a ncie sound but I couldn't see it on an adult. So a 6

Brighton- Not a fan, seems more like a surname or a more "kre8tive" version of Bryson. So a 4

Gabriel- A biblical name with a good feeling and sound. So an 8.
------------------------------

Hope you liked my ratings! I try to be as honest as possible without being mean or rude. I mean no offence what so ever, as I know everyone has different styles and opinions.

Azalea- Not a fan, it's a nature name but it isn't well established enough to be considered along with the likes of Rose, Lily & Hazel. So a 4
-------------------------

Aaralynn- Not a fan, sounds trendy and "kre8tive". So a 4
-------------------------

Mila- Never been a favorite but still nice for a girl. So a 7
------------------------

Carter- A very upstanding sounding name. Very Nice, so an 8
-------------------------

Jack- A classic and now underused name due to Jackson becoming so popular. So a 7

Amalia Harper Leigh- Amalia Harper is actually very pretty, Leigh just makes it seem over done. So a 6

Amalia- Prefer Amelia but Amalia has a nice sound to it as well. So a 7

Harper-I love musical names, but this is a little modern for my tastes but still very nice. So an 8

Leigh- A nice unisex name, but not really a favorite, seems like it should be attached to another part to make a name. So a 5

Elle
Anastasia
Ophelia
Nelia (Maeve as a potential middle name)
Maeve
Annika

Elle- Can be a nickname for names like Noelle or Michelle but can be a nice middle name for longer first and surnames. So a 7
----------------------

Anastasia- A little long but a classic Russian/Eastern European name. So an 8.
-----------------------

Ophelia- Very Shakespearean but still nice enough. So a 7
-----------------------

Nelia Maeve- Has a nice sound and flow to t, pretty. So a 7

Nelia- Like Nell-ee-ah? Nice but not a personal favorite. So a 6

Maeve- A nice classic name but not boring. So a 7
--------------------------

Maeve- A nice classic name but not boring. So a 7
-------------------------

Annika- Uncommon but a nice alternative to Ann(e) and Anna. Annie is a cute NN for it though. So a 7
--------------------------

Hadley Cadence

Asa Bellamy Jack

Tate Montgomery

Hadley Cadence- A little repetitive on the D's, Hailey Cadence maybe? Nice though. So a 6

Hadley- I see this as a unisex name but still cute and has a good flow. So an 8.

Cadence- Its nice and cute with a nice ring and sound. So an 8.
---------------------------------

Asa Bellamy Jack- Seems a bit over done with three names but not awful. So a 6

Asa- Rather short, but a nice variation to Ava (an older boy name turned unisex) So a 6

Bellamy- A boys name that I have always associated with the name Aubrey because they began as a Male name, but progressively became Unisex or Female. So an 8

Jack- A classic and now underused name due to Jackson becoming so popular. So a 7
-------------------------

Tate Montgomery- Montgomery Tate has a bit better flow but still nice. So a 7

Tate- A nice name, though a little heavy on T's in my opinion. So an 8.

Montgomery- Not a big fan as words/places like this as a name and its a little long but its nice enough. So a 6
--------------------------

Mia Marley; Mia Madison; Marley Madison; Madison Marley? I love these three names but need help choosing two!

Mia Marley- Rather halting and clashing but not horrible. So a 6

Mia- A bit short, but a nice name all the same. So a 7

Marley- Reminds me of Bob Marley and of Marley & Me, and more boyish, but not all bad. So a 5
----------------------------

Mia Madison- Madison Mia B. would be a lovely combo as well! So an 8

Mia- A bit short, but a nice name all the same. So a 7

Madison- A classic name though a bit to popular for me but still nice. So an 8.
----------------------------

Marley Madison- Rather halting and the styles clash but not awful. So a 6

Marley- Reminds me of Bob Marley and of Marley & Me, and more boyish, but not all bad. So a 5

Madison- A classic name though a bit to popular for me but still nice. So an 8.

Of your list, Mia Madison or even Madison Mia would be the best in terms of flow and style. :)

I don't know if people still check this but here are my names:
Arianna Monroe
Julianna Marleigh
Aubrianna Presleigh
Arianna Demeigh

Boys:
Nathan Richard
Connor Brian

Adrianna Monroe- Sounds more like a first and last name combo but not bad. So a 6

Adrianna- A nice feminine version of Adrian, soft but strong. So a 7

Monroe- Reminds me of a surname and of Marilyn Monroe, but still a nice name though more of a boy name to me. So a 7
-----------------------------------

Julianna Marleigh- Looks clunky and over done with that spelling of Marley, couldn't see it on an adult. So a 4

Julianna- A nice variation of Julie, Julia and Juliet, very sweet and soft. So an 8

Marleigh- Prefer Marley, and even then on boys more than girls because of Bob Marley. So a 3
----------------------------------

Aubrianna Presleigh- It looks clunky and made up and misspelled, I couldn't see it on an adult at all. So a 3

Aubrianna- Prefer Aubrey over Aubrianna but nice enough. So a 6

Presleigh- Much prefer Presley as the whole "Leigh" craze is very overdone and just looks misspelled and clunky. So a 3
------------------------------------

Arianna Demeigh- Arianna Demi is very nice but this spelling looks clunky and silly and I couldn't see it on an adult. So a 3

Arianna- Very princess sounding to me and I love that. So a 9.

Demeigh- Not a fan, you would probably have to explain to everyone that this is Demi. So a 2
-------------------------------------

Nathan Richard- Has a nice sound though the styles clash a little bit but not bad, Nathaniel Richard would be handsome. So a 7

Nathan- A nice name, good for children and adults. Nickname Nat or Nate is cute, A good nickname for Nathaniel. So an 8

Richard- Never been a fan. A bit dated, and can spawn nasty nicknames when around more immature teenagers. So a 5
-------------------------------------

Connor Brian- Brian Connor would have a better flow to me but still nice. So a 7

Connor- Not one of my favorites but I do like its flow. So an 8.

Brian- Not one of my favorite names but its classical and grows well. So an 8.
--------------------------------------

Ezra Jackson
Silas Jeremiah
Nathaniel Archer
Monroe Spencer

Ezra Jackson- Sounds like a first and last name combo but nice enough. So a 7

Ezra- A biblical name, a bit short but a nice name. So a 7

Jackson- Has a nice sound, though it reminds me of a surname. So an 8
-----------------------------

Silas Jeremiah- Has a good sound and flow to, handsome! So an 8

Silas- An old name that is due for a comeback, cute but adult too. So a 7

Jeremiah- A biblical name with a good feeling and sound. So an 8.
-----------------------------

Nathaniel Archer- Sounds vaguely like a first and last name combo but still handsome. So an 8

Nathaniel- Love this name, very cute and grown up, Nathan is a nice nickname and so is Nat. So a 9.

Archer- Seems more like a word to me but still nice I suppose. So a 7
-----------------------------

Monroe Spencer- A bit halting and rather surname-ish but not awful. So a 6

Monroe- Reminds me of a surname and of Marilyn Monroe, but still a nice name though more of a boy name to me. So a 7

Spencer- Reminds me a bit of the store but has a good ring and still nice. So an 8.
-----------------------------
