I am hoping that you can help me. I need a 3-syllable middle name to go with the first name Max. Our last name is also one syllable so I think we need a longer middle name to tie it all together.
Also, what's your opinion of the middle name "delaney" for a boy? It has some significance to us, but I know it is more frequently used for girls.
thanks for your help!!

Max, a classic, but good name. It can be challenging, depending on what you what. As of Delaney, I think it's cute. Max Delaney. Nah. Try these:
Roosevelt (Max Roosevelt sounds awesome!)
Adriel
Anderson
Angelo
Dorian
Edison
Jefferson (A classic name.)
Marcelo (Unless your last name has a M I don't recommend this.)
Roderick (Who knows, he might like Diary of a Wimpy kid someday!)
Timothy (Oh classic Timothy!)
Enrique (A great unique name!)
Tobias (Go Divergent!)
Lionel (Max Lionel. How cool?)
Dimitri (I love this name!)
Hope this helps!

What about Max Delane? Giving it a more masculine feel without the -y ending

I think Max Delaney is just fine.
