I recently noticed a blog post on Nameberry asking about what people would name their kids if they were celebrities. Since celebrities are prone to picking unusual, quirky, and sometimes even bizarre names, what would you choose if you were a celebrity? Would you pick a similarly offbeat name, or would you stick with a more traditional one?

If I were a celebrity, I would name a daughter Cleo Persephone and a son Boden Gatsby.

If I was a celebrity I would probably use my guilty pleasure names with a traditional middle.
As horrible as they may be, I love them.

Glimmer Marie
Poppy Alexandria
Lazlo Alexander
Gideon James

Nope, my future kids names would probably stay the same...

Liam Timothy and Joy Marie.. I might possibly go with Layken Shiloh for a boy, but probably not.

I would most likely still go with my current options.
But I might just use a guilty pleasure or two!

I.e.
Poet Elisabeth
Tallulah Jane
Luna Caterine
Harmony Stella
Arabella Quinn
Flavia Rose
Mischa Noelle

Dante Francesco
Milo Griffin
August Lennon
Leonardo James
Wyatt Caspian
Maximilian Henry

I don't think my options would change whether I was a celebrity or not :) I love the names on my list because I genuinely love them, and guilty pleasure names are GP's because I can't see the name on a child- whether they are famous or not. (for reasons of teasing potential, not aging, etc). So they'd stay the same :)

But maybe I might be more tempted to use choices such as....

Seraphina
Emery
Marley
Juniper
Roisin
Saoirse
Franklin

Those are the only ones that come up off the top of my head :) But yeah... haha. In any life I'd adore to use some real old fashioned names like Harriet or something but oh well. I adore them old fashioned names! <3

I think I would stick to my current first name choices, which are already a bit quirky/unusual. However I might go with different/more unique middle name combos. If I'm rich and famous, why not? Since bird names have special meaning to me, there is a bird name in each of the combos...

Wiley Christopher Egret
Eller Martin Alvery
Rand Caspian Starling
Amos Theodore Whimbrel

Edie Georgiana Pheobe
Sidda Virginia Marylark
Farris Winifred Nightingale
Prairie Wren Delilah

I'd probably use guilty pleasure names mixed with my favourite names.

Sunday Grace

Naya Josephine

Shyanne Lucy

Rainer Samuel

Roman Theodore

Kenton Lawrence

Or if I was feeling really crazy I'd go with Sunday Shyanne for a girl and Tuesday Peregrine for a boy.

I'd probably be tempted to use my GP names. It wouldn't be so out there, then. I still don't think I'd go TOO out there, though.

Maybe something like Kennedy for a girl.

I think I'd use my GPs since I could get away with it.

Maybe Gideon Wrestling and Koda Jacob for boys and Rebekah "Bec" Kayla and Antonia "Toni" Delilah for girls.

I would def. use my favorite guilty pleasure name for a girl:

Mahogany Britain

Not too sure about a little boy though. I'd have to actually think about that and repost. lol

I'd definitely use guilty pleasure names. Being rich and famous grants them immunity, right? Right?

Matteo Avery - "Matty", "Tay"
Sebastian Avery - "Bastian"
Sebastian Matteo

As well as for a girl

Mahogany Britain - "Annie"
Lenore Brynn
Aurora Kensington - "Rory"

All guilty pleasure names

I really don't know if being famous or not would change my naming style, but if I were to follow the celebrity "trend" I'd probably be brave enough to use some of my guilty pleasures:

Briar Rose

Anza Lyric

Elliot Quinn {Ellie or Ellie-Quinn}

Lark Harper

Helen Olympia

Adia Monet

Caela Fantine

Alexander Helios

August Julian
