Margo.

The simple name that has me all in fits because I love it so much!

The only problem is that I have no idea how I should spell it because I have a problem with at least all of them.

Margo - looks incomplete

Margot - can be a potential target for teasing with 'maggot'

Margaux - I love this spelling the most but many people will correct it to the Margeaux.

Margeaux - seems too long and is really the correct French spelling yet I love it too.

Middle name(s) Ideas:

Quinn

Claire

Blu/Blue

Elle

Thanks in advance! :)

One of my favorite names at the moment is Margaux. I think that is the best spelling. Unless you really want authentic French, Margeaux will be too confusing for most Americans. Margaux is just simple enough while being elegant and classy at the same time.

My favorite middle names are Claire and Elle! Have you considered Charlotte?

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately Charlotte would be way to long to use as a middle name considering our surname is uber long. Lol!

I like the Margaux spelling. I think it's perfectly "correct" from what I understand. Margeaux looks excessive.

There are so many great middle names to go with Margaux! Margaux Claire doesn't flow all that well, not to mention that Claire is such a common middle name.

Margaux Diane

Margaux Elaine

Margaux Lucille

Margaux Estelle

Margaux Celeste

Thanks for the reassurance! I'm really digging Margaux Estelle. Vintage with a retro twist. Exactly what I am looking for.

My favourite is the Margot spelling, in my opinion Margo looks unfinished and the others look like they're trying too hard to be trendy and also a little messy, but that's just my opinion.

I have Margot Isabella on my list, but Margaux Estelle is pretty too. Hmm, what about Margaux June or Margaux Eliza?

Growing up with a Margeaux, I much prefer Margot or Margo. So many people (especially the other kids) called her "mar-gux" because they didn't know how to say it. It sort of stuck that way all through all the school years. We're in high school and she still goes by mar-gux. Maybe that's just one story and it isn't normally like that, but that is just my experience with the name. I think Margot is lovely and would get less "teasing" than Margeaux/Margaux.

Margaux Estelle is really pretty! Maybe:

Margaux Violet

Margaux Siena

Margaux Elsa

Margaux Arielle

Margaux Poppy

Margaux Isla

Margaux Luella

Margaux Fifer / Piper

Margaux Alexandra

Margaux Hazel

Margaux Etta

Margaux Eloise

Margaux Elise

Margaux Clara

Margaux Emily

Margaux Aurora

Margaux Luna

Margaux Ivy

Margaux Faye

Margot is the best spelling. Won't be a pain to spell out to anyone that asks.

And I think Margot Blue sounds so great together. Good choice
